Even now after all that time, Red Dead 2 is still my favorite game. I can't name a game where I got attached to my player. And when he died, I cried. Only game to ever do that. Thank you to all the people who contributed to the making of the game. R.I.P Arthur Morgan.
Rdr2 is really sad I’ve never played the story but u cry to when he does die, however if u enjoyed this game try titanfall 2 campaign you’ll probably love it just as much it’s really sad
I wholeheartedly agree with this, but I also do highly recommend Mass Effect trilogy, it's an (limited)Open world space opera setting of our Milky Way Galaxy, but the storyline campaign is on par with that of RDR, beautiful and beautifully told, and you fall in love with the characters just as much as in RDR.
I cried at the part where Arthur died. So many of the gang died. Lenny, Hosea, Sean, Molly, Mac, Davey. Micah damned us all and Arthur tried to stop it.
"We can only move on." Sometimes that's very hard, especially when we lose something we really did care about. Unfortunately that's life. I think Gene Hackman in Wyatt Earp, that starred Kevin Costner a Dennis Quaid, said it best: "You think your the first one to ever lose someone/something you cared about? That's what life's all about, loss. But we don't use it as an excuse to destroy ourselves. We go on."
I never tought in my life that ANY game would make me feel that extremly emotional, i was crying, having real depression for about a month biting into my pillow a lots of time, i even drank a bottle by myslef, all this just over a game, it hit me so hard i was thinking ONLY about the game, couldnt get it out of my head, i was literlly obsessed... Only if dutch didnt lose his mind, or the rest of the gang wouldnt be blinded by loyality for Dutch... This game is a real masterpiece, the best game in the world literally Rockstar games are legends
I blame dutch somewhat. I mean he most likely got a brain injury or something during the trolley mission with lenny, but he should of been able to see the signs. Plus, it doesn't make sense to choose micah over arthur when arthur and dutch have been together for like 20 something years
@@pineapples6583 you have to think about that Arthur had TB and he was obviously getting weaker. Dutch probably thought Arthur couldn’t think straight although he could.
The way the sunrise really illuminates at the end as it’s coming up.. I feel is Gods way of telling Arthur before he passed “I’m proud of you boy” and giving him a small dose of the peace that’s coming to him after 20 years of being an outlaw, after all the violence, shootouts, fighting, robbing and killing.. that he finally achieved his redemption, and God saw it, knew it and is about to welcome Arthur Morgan with open arms. what a masterpiece 🙏 RIP Arthur 😢 ❤️
I was always loyal to Dutch and everyone then Dutch betrayed me so I started to lose loyalty but I kept fighting for them and I will always keep fighting for them
This is enough to make a grown man cry 😔 seriously this game is something else... Incredible! Besides what's the name of this song playing in the background, beautiful!
Out of these like 5 or 6 years that rdr2 been our it has by far the saddest protagonist death in any video game, tvshow, or movie I haven't played any other game so far that has a sadder end
What this tribute, in my opinion, teaches to ONLY believe what people do, not what they say, like how Arthur had ample evidence in front of his face as to the type of man Druch truly was before the oil factory incident. Good intentions and whatnot, do not mean jack-shit, no how beautifully they're articulated, if they're not backed up with action, and you're a fool to believe in someone's words, until they demonstrate by their actions consistently over a respectabke period of time that they're sincere and deserving of your trust, because anyone can fake even actions for a certain amount of time, in order to get what they want out of you, but after a while their mask is gonna fall off and they will be revealed for who and what they truly are. Arthur's story is what i would call a cautionary tale, of not just the consequences of living a bad life, but also in trying to see what you only want to see in others.
In my opinion, Dutch killing Angelo Bronte was one of the smartest things he ever did. Bronte was a monster, and he would have brought a reign of terror on Saint Denis far worse than anything his successors could have thought of. A man whose monopoly on the knowledge of all things evil is only surpassed by his impressive stupidity. “A thousand dollars to the man who kills (Dutch) and sets me free.” If Bronte was ever going to get off that boat alive, he sealed his fate with that statement. Of course, Dutch killed many others he didn’t have to kill. But with a man like Bronte, Dutch was completely right. “It’s either us or him!” If Bronte had been spared, the Van der Linde gang would’ve been hunted down and slaughtered in Arthur’s time, not John’s.
Masterpiece! Did you ever get copyrighted for the music? I do in my videos and I don’t know how to prevent it. Anyways love this video, truly amazing. The talent ✨
Im not an expert neither a content creator but i have seen a lot of these ones and i wanted to say what you can improve i the next one, try to focus more on arthur lines and not in complete custescenes nice and try to adjust the volume of the music, a little lower to be able to differentiate the dialogues nice work anyways
The last mission or such didn't make sense to me. Now I know. John was coming back and only place he knew was the camp. So , Arthur had to meet him there. . Just seems stupid to go back to camp one last time just to be hunted by the gang.
I’m still not sure if Dutch was bad all along or he changed because he lost so many gang members. Specially Hosea. I think the fact the he got a head injury from the train accident is also over looked by many as to why he acted so differently
Well RDR1 will say otherwise. He went crazy about the Gang’s fall which also made him even crazier in RDR1 . It wasn’t until the the very last two minutes of his life where he realizes he is a bad person. And then never seen alive by John’s eyes.
hosea stabilized him, he was the good while dutch was the bad, losing him sent him in a spiral downwards, there’s lots of proof everywhere, even dutch’s “off the top of the head speeches” weren’t even real, you can find the speech he spoke in colter at the beginning of the game written down on a piece of paper in horseshoe with staging and movements and pauses written in

Interesting fact Arthur's heavy breathing at the end when he dies is actually his voice actor Roger Clark crying that's how emotional it was
that is a interesting fact indeed!
Shows how amazing of a character Arthur really is
Just wondering where did you hear/see that info?
Doesn't surprise me. A really good voice actor has to be able live the role. And well, Arthur Morgan has one tragic story
@@biggmonke8057 tbh I heard it a while back I think It was while I was watching a vid about Roger's experience with Arthur's character

When Arthur died, and he was taking his final breaths, that was the clearest breathing I heard from him since chapter 3
The best game ever i swear...

How is it that this video game has more emotional story telling then most movie’s today?!?!?
i never hated dutch at the end, it wasnt his fault and he was one of my favourite characters. i feel sorry for him.
I 100% agree with you.
Sure as hell was his fault. Micah shares the brunt of the blame with him but everyone in the gang (minus Jack and Cain) are responsible
Dutch was a badass in my opinion, one of my favorites. Micah was an amazing villain, but he sure was the one to blame.
