WOW same story ! My Dad and Mom had a green Charger , white interior with clear plastics cover on the seats. That car wasn't to loud . The Gold Duster was one the you could her blocks away. Miss you Dad RIP 9/11

Funny thing is; almost all the Dukes of Hazard Chargers were 318's lol.
you can build a 318 heads, cams, bore it. watch 318 will run, on CZcams he has a 318 in a duster tunnel ram cam and so on dose like 12s in a quarter all low dollar parts most used and did it in his driveway. i have a 440 in my Plymouth scamp i would rather have a 340 or small block built

I love the way that you keep punching the gas pedal like you're going to find something there if you do it enough times lol. The 318 was probably one of the most reliable engines ever made, that and the slant six, but no matter how many times you stab it you're not going to get much out of it lol. Sad to see what is supposed to be a muscle car so let down by the engine choice. Put a 440 in there and she'd be a much nicer ride.
Great condition. Very nice cruiser. Not a '72 fan but this passes muster easily.

What a nice car and I have been around many cars in my day and she is 1 of the best that I have seen in many yr's of my life. God at that price you can not go wrong. I mean ever thing that I say here.

I owned that exact same car when I was 17 I traded a dirtbike for it and then once I owned it I then traded it for a 1970 camaro .

My best friend's older sister had a 1973 a little bit lighter blue with a white vinyl roof. Of course modern paint doesn't match exactly because of the change in chemical makeup. It was a very cool car. Very Star Trek front seats and steering wheel. Even furniture was available in that style from the late 60s. 😊
Maybe the A/C instructions and trim tags are in that folder! Strong possibilty it's an original Petty blue car! Rare!

A 318 is a truck motor not a performance motor if you like this car and you have a big block ready then swap the k member n put in that 383 or 440 with a 727 auto trans or 833 4spd but if you could go all out restomod with a modern hemi n auto trans 4 wheel disc brakes a true restomod not a 318 n I had plenty of 318 cars all junk with a 2 barrel carburetor. 1971 last year for real old school Mopar performance cars
