Remember how exciting cars were back in the 90's when all these things were getting released? Seems like another world now. The 90's were the best time ever for performance cars and the Japanese manufacturers drove it. Affordable performance cars taking on the establishment and all distinct and interesting also. JDM FTW.
And still running the streets today 😏
I visited the Toyota building in Tokyo in the 90's when the Silvia, Sourer, MR2 and the Supra were released, it was great to see these cars back then, it was IKEA a candy store. Great pace to visit.
90's were the best time for jdm cars, yes, not so much for european and american ones

Yes very hard and fast drifting. I was yelling inside me at this point, and saying oh my god, oh my god, he will slide and hit the barriers, but he did it. This guy was driving very hard for a car that dosen't look that is made for hard driving. I am impressed. Racing driving is science, needs study.

There was a grey micra at Silverstone a few years back at Japfest and no word of a lie it was keeping up with everything. Semi slicks on and absolutely sent by the guy driving. VERY good driver or very ballsy driver but he was braking later, turning harder, faster corner speeds, everything. Only place things went past was on the straight.

Nah, not really. It's indeed very pretty (at least IMHO), but there's nothing special about it. It's overhyped solely due to F&F movies and that's it. In reality, the stock ones are slow, underpowered and heavy. It only performs good when it's (heavily) tuned.
