@@TierdDoktor6391Full auto will be a setting like tap/hold for QTEs, the mod is for weapons that are normally semi to fire at a fixed rate for extra damage.
FINALLY! I have arthritis in my hands and I simply cannot use semi auto weapons. I couldn't use melee until the change and now I can use any guns. I've been wanting this for a LONG time!
How do you feel about Atlas?
It makes sense to make semi auto to full auto.
Imagine playing Warframe on your smartphone while pressing the button like crazy just to shoot lol.
My kuva brakk is going to be superior to the euphonia prime for plague star.
Smartphone auto shoots when your cross hairs are over an enemy. That makes hit scan weapons godly.
I'm pretty sure the tech for automatic bows already exists. I recall a big change for Tenet Ferrox is that it charges after firing if you hold the button down, so it's already an auto-charge trigger type.
One case that might get interesting is the good old Tiberon, because it now will have three different auto fire modes xD

Strun Prime with the ammo restore vs elec proc targets could be insane synergy with things like Arc Coil and Citrine's gem!
If you count human error, DPS will be from 3% to 12% quicker, depending on the weapon.
warframe is the reason i have broke multiple springs on my controllers, idk if thats the right term for the little rubber things under the buttons and triggers but warframe is the reason i have broken them so its nice to see that this change is happening
I got a decent grinlok ribbon this will pair nicely with.
Also, scourge dual toxicist combo will get a little easier to charge incarnon mode
Gauss with energized munitions is already good with tenet envoy I wonder what it’ll be like with kuva zarr or kuva tonkor. Kuva tonkor gonna be so chill now for normal warframes
im wondering how that new mod they were talking about will interact with multiple fire mode weapons, like the incarnon dual toxocyst which really wants punch through in its incarnon mode.

I loved this change in D2 and i think i'm certain i will love it here as well, i can finally start using some weapons i haven't used in ages!

its good that they are changing these things is till remeber years (before SP even was a thing)my exhalted blade excal setup had a good amounth of attack speed,then my buddy braught his max power strength attack speed buffing valky......my finger was dead in like 5 mins xd

I remember having to use a macro because I could literally NOT shoot as fast as the gun could, doing clicks
So, how will this work with weapons that use the secondary fire to switch between a semi and auto fire modes that have differing stats already, like the Tenora or Tiberon?

Either this or have it be a multiplicative damage buff. Anything less than 360% additive would make it useless.
@@Super787B It's gonna be a must-slot mod or it's going to be useless. Chances of them making a successful side-grade are almost zero.
I'm soo gonna dust off the old Ak-family when this drops! Always loved the sound and feel of the Aklex and Akbolto Prime in particular, but man! All that clicking was really annoying after awhile.

it's a setting, the mod they discussed is seperate from the setting

issue is if fire rate is lower than 7-8 then you cant use it comfortably in semi since there will be times you want to shoot twice or thrice faster than 6 while more is inhumane to keep up and thats waste of stats you never gonna use.10-14 rps is enough to keep up after targets that are not slowed down by any mean.
normal person would think. Charge guns and Bows Would have alternative fire for auto fire BUT reload exists as an un-usable button so I DONT KNOW?
real issue here will be charge guns with alt-fires AND reloads but lets just pretend spearguns dont exist because they are bad and do no dmg ok?

I hate this. Some weapons should be semi-auto. This is just dumbing down the game even more and making it easier, not harder.
Pablo mentioned snipers but it’s the marksman rifles too that will no longer have the feel of a marksman rifle. The positive is that, like you mentioned, people will be willing use some weapons that are basically dead right now. I still don’t personally like it and I’ll choose not to use it in a lot of cases.
well if you don't want them to be full auto you're allowed to change the setting more options is a good thing
@@GazTTV I guess. I’m not from the everyone deserves a trophy generation or mindset. If something is too hard for someone or they’re too lazy, that’s fine, that weapon isn’t for you.
For example, a way to balance weapons in fps games is for higher recoil guns to have a better ttk than the easy to use guns. It gives incentive to master that weapon and rewards people that put the time and effort in. I’m including myself here. There are guns in games that I can’t be bothered practicing with or are just beyond my skill level. It’s ok that there are things that aren’t for everyone.
@@GazTTV "If you don't like it, don't use it" isn't all there is to it. This setting will affect balancing, the design of new weapons and may even lead to nerfs of certain semi-auto weapons. Whether or not you personally use the setting you are going to feel the effects it has on the game. Whether that is something rather trivial like a shift in the meta, or something that does impact how you play the game and enjoy certain weapons.

I guess learning to keybind to mouse wheel and doing it that way could be considered a skill but since you threw in the whole participation trophy reward thing it feels like really what this is, is you're ego is attached to your performance in a video game and if people can do what you can do but easier it invalidates your accomplishments? Come on bro we grown we got kids to take care of and 401ks to worry about who cares. Now my problem is with this guns start to become more and more homogenized. They all feel the same so why should I use anything but the most meta weapon if they are all essentially the same thing. That argument is far more compelling.
