  • In this video, I bring you the second part of my journey from Singapore to Bangkok, which I undertook in April 2023. My Thai adventure began when I crossed the border from Malaysia and entered the Land of Smiles - Thailand. I then proceeded directly to the island of Ko Lanta, from where I embarked on a trip to the Phi Phi Islands. This was followed by the city of Krabi and its surroundings, and then I quickly moved north to the city of Hua Hin. At the end of the video, you'll find a brief glimpse of Bangkok, where this time I mostly relaxed because I had arrived in Bangkok several months before this part of the journey.
As I mentioned, the first stop was the island of Ko Lanta. I can highly recommend this island, but especially don't stop right at the beginning, as there are only hotels there. I went a bit further, where I had accommodation for 150 Kč per night, including breakfast. The advantage was that I rented a scooter and could reach the practically empty beaches on the southern part of the island or visit the beautiful village of Lanta Old Town.
From Ko Lanta, I took a trip to Phi Phi Island. Personally, I have to say that these islands are very touristy, and tourists are not what I'm looking for, so my enthusiasm for the Phi Phi Islands was less, and I preferred to return to Ko Lanta.
Then I traveled from Ko Lanta to the city of Krabi, where I took several trips. From my perspective, Railay Beach was interesting. However, I enjoyed swimming in the Huay To Waterfall the most. A great option is a short trek with 1260 steps to the Wat Tham Seua Krabi temple in this area. Another longer trek is possible to the Khao Ngon Nak viewpoint.
The last major stop was the city of Hua Hin and its surroundings. Ultimately, I was most enthusiastic about this place. The trip to the Phraya Nakhon Cave, where a beautiful temple is located, was amazing. The hills around Bueng Bua Wood Boardwalk are beautiful as well. A great experience was swimming with fish in the cascading Pa La-U Waterfall. It was funny when the scooter broke down on my way back to Hua Hin, and I had to have it repaired on the spot.
I continued through the city of Phetchaburi to Bangkok, where I concluded my trip. I hope you enjoyed my video, and I look forward to making more videos.
