- I've played a lot of Forza Horizon 5 and before that Forza Horizon 4. However I have never had the chance to play Forza Horizon 3. This is my first first time playing FH3. I am using Thrustmaster steering wheel as well, however I could not get the handbrake or H-shifter to work. If anyone know how to make shifter and e-brake work in Forza Horizon 3 then please let me know! This game honestly looks so pretty when using max graphics. If you guys like this then I will do more gameplay from this beautiful looking racing game.

i've played this game for a long time, of course playing the newer forzas too, but this game is still so fun to play, and i like the map better than more games now

This game had a ton of different car options, including Tesla, and this game also had some really good car sounds, graphics are also pretty good to. The tire sounds are better than any game, skids are SMOOTH, and ya.
I have watched so many CZcamsrs playing this game, and it feels so nostalgic to be back watching this game after 6 years.

Haven't played this in a while but I got like 400 hours on it and absolutely loved it. I do love 4 and 5, but it will be very hard for another horizon to beat 3 for me

Truth is, fh3 has THE BEST map from any horizon game
This will forever be my favorite game ever, solely because of the amount of memories me and my friends made in it, back when we were just kids. Not a worry in the world. It'll forever hold a special place in my heart, and it's absolutely awesome to see people like you still playing it to this day :)
I had been playing forza horizon 3 since about 2017 and was still playing it before I even got forza horizon 4 and 5 and when I saw this video months later I got so excited cause barley anyone does forza horizon 3 videos anymore! Love the vids

Jesus this took me back in time, I remember 2016 when I first got an Xbox and fh3 on Christmas, it was so magical back then and looking back at it now, I miss it. Good video.
FH3 is definitely my favourite racing game of all time. Even my dad who's Australian could recognise a lot of the point of interests in the map before he even knew that the map was based on Australia. I replayed this game in the weeks prior to FH5's launch and man I cried because of the nostalgia playing this game back in 2018. Man that feels like a long time ago
Fact: Forza Horizon 5 was made on the same engine as Forza Horizon 3 so that's why you don't see that much graphics changes imo

Story? I wouldn't really say this game had a story. I wouldn't say any Horizon has had a story since FH2. Personally, I like that they don't have stories because I always found them to be more cringy and annoying than anything else. I love that I can just buy my favorite car an immediately Start enjoying the game exactly how I want to.

I owned this game before FH5, and I found that simulation handling in FH5 is just like standard in FH3. Also it helps to play with the camber, too.
The physics are relatively similar fortunately. But the Force Feedback for wheel users is drastically better now than it was back then.
It's a good game no doubt and I hope you get a way to use your handbrake and shifter. Also thanks for suggesting a new game 👍🏻👍🏻

the first ever racing game i ever played wat forza 3 and seeing all the old locations brings back memories but the mechanics and all that not as advanced as forza 5 but map graphics and locations all very well worked on you can go from the beach to a rain forest to the desert all in a 5 minute drive
Although there are plenty of 'em, my first and propably the best racing game I've played must be the NFS Prostreet, so many good memories, and much more sad ones cuz I never learnt to play the game till the end

My forza obsession began one day when I went over to a friends house. I wasn't too much if a car person then, and I thought it might be cool to horizon 3 out. When I first played, Something sparked in my brain and I instantly became a car person. I didn't have an xbox or a pc though, so I couldn't play myself.
for years I dreamed of owning my own copy of forza
and a few months ago I built a pc.
within a few minutes of the pc turning on, forza 5 was installing, and thus the best day of my life began.

My all time favorite racing game has to be NFS underground 2. But right now its FH3.
I'm not sure exactly how the button mapping is set up for pc but I would use the second mapping when I was on my wheel. My shifter worked, and my paddles were to look left and right. I didn't have an e brake but im sure there's a way to map it.

Ive always thought that one of my biggest regrets was never playing fh3... I know there are bigger problems in life, but small things just get to you sometimes. I always thought it looked way better than it had any right to be, and I think even if it was released today, it would still be the perfect game. Sadly the game was pulled from pc stores recently and as far as I knew, there was no other way to play it. How did you manage to play it? (excuse me if you mentioned it somewhere in the video)

There's definitely a massive difference in graphics but it's not necessarely something you would notice. I would struggle to explain properly with my poor English but FH5 has really something when it comes to the density. When you know where to look at, FH5 is in another league completely.
That said, i do prefer FH3 vibes and the atmosphere is so different. The sky is beautiful and it feels like an endless summer in Australia. I never stopped playing it since the release, even though i'm also enjoying FH5 a lot, it doesn't feel the same. FH3 is still my favourite Forza Horizon so far.

The energy this game had was so great. Sunny skies, cool cities, the awesome outback. I remember getting fh4 and being so disappointed with that game bc it just could not match fh3. Even Fh5 isn’t the same. I would take this game with the current fh5 player base and car selection any day

This game nailed the map. Best map in any forza game 100%
While fh5 is larger and more detailed, better graphics, higher mountains etc, the general map in fh3 is better and im sure most of the fora community agrees
For me FH5 map is bland and boring, it looks good but gets boring after like 20mins
@@Metro.... Yeah bad! FH4 had the best to me. Gotta love cruising those long highways and what not with a wheel. 5 just feels like its pure country side and just nothing interesting around the map. Its bland. Then 3... Well, I prefer it over 5, I can say that but only to an extent.
thats how i react to graphics every time i play older horizon titles like bro they still look amazing. you should definitely try horizon 2 it looks and sounds better than horizon 3 it also has the best rain effects in horizon franchise. Sadly horizon 2 is only on xbox one but today used xones are pretty cheap so you could probably get one in the future.

I much prefer the Australian map to the two later games, the lovely sunny weather makes me feel good. The saw mill, construction site, mine, are interesting with pretty good races around them etc.I never liked the FH4 map I find it too samey all over, too much rain too,the FH5 map is juist downright boring.
My favorite Forza is still Horizon 2. 3 is too colorful, and the map has this patched together feeling. Both are better (and best) in its predicessor. Music is better as well. Not as good as in 1, but still very good. It went downhill after Horizon 2.
Like I started playing with Horizon 1 and I love all of the games. And Horizon 2 was this major upgrade. Since then the newer games did some things better and some things worse.

1 was good
2 was better
3 was diverse, but flat
4 was not as flat, but less diverse and you couldn't drive 1/4th of the time
5 is not flat anymore, but it feels artificial (all the small circles, leading nowhere but are obviously only there to be a race track)
This goes with many aspects in my opinion.

you need to put custom steering wheel setigns on. you have trustmaster t300 settings so you dont have H shifter or hand brake defaultly. its the option where it says thrustmaster t300 change it to custom. this is how you do it in forza4 atleast.

I Started replaying fh3 this week and yeah,with the séries s/x upgrade it looks amazing,the colors,reflections,the light feels way more natural than either fh4 or fh5,the Cars weight is natural,the roads are fast and flowing ,the sounds are really good,it really is the best Horizon by far

I only played from horizon 3 onwards, and to me 3 had the nicest map, I got used to the driving of 4 and 5, so now I struggle with driving in 3, but 3 had the most variety of areas to cruise and have car meets, they basically had a parking lot in each location
My first 2 racing games were Horizon 2 and Horizon 3, and they were amazing!
