    Frutiger aero has a feeling and the feeling is being a kid in the mid to late 2000’s growing up in the 2010’s

    So, Basically, Charm = Risk, and companies typically don't want to risk anything these days, just sort of do whatever is popular and hope to replicate the success, regardless of whether they realize what made what they're copying so successful in the first place or not. It's this weird paradox where companies want to stand out, but also if one company invented some new design that's working for them, they have to catch up, but coming up with their own style and designs to set themselves apart is time consuming, risky, and expensive, so it's easier to just copy their competitors homework since "It worked for them, let's just rip it off"
    Maybe one day, a company will realize how tired everyone is of the current corporate art style and how we're all pining for something new, and will set themselves apart with something risky but pleasant looking, and the stars will align just right, and and it will immediately become the new style all the other companies try to imitate, and thing will begin to look a bit more colorful and interesting again. But until that happens, oh well.
    I also just feel like in general, companies used to have to put a lot more effort into their presentation and trying to make themselves seem approachable and friendly, and over time they realized that's not as important now that they have such wide fan bases and all this word of mouth, they can be more cold, boring and corporate and safe and people will still flock to them because while the atmosphere was nice, it's clear it's not all that important in getting people to buy as it probably used to be. so most companies don't even bother anymore.

    I'd say this aesthetic officially died when the Wii U or 3DS died

  • @ekaterinaobraztsova4631

    I noticed an intresting effect this aesthetic has on me. It aways makes it easier to stop using gadgets and do something else. I'm pretty sure that because it uses photos of real life things, it constantly reminds me of it.
    Alegria (Corporate memphis) style, on the other hand, Is purely drawn. It makes IRL things look as something abstract and vague, and it just contributes to my scrolling.

    "New designs got popularity'
    Then why so many many people ask for Frutiger Aero and Y2K to come back? 🤨.
    They (companies) just wanted to gain money without spending as much time

    • @Abstract2k
      @Abstract2k  Před 11 měsíci +3

      Obviously alot of people want frutiger aero/y2k back, but the majority of people are happy with the current designs so companies will use them because they are cheaper

    • @Aki-kh2qe-StreetKidZZZ
      @Aki-kh2qe-StreetKidZZZ Před 11 měsíci +1

      @@Abstract2k I think you missed the point of my comment although you came in a similar conclusion if you re read my comment, the majority of people based on what I've seen want Frutiger Aero and Y2K to return, hell I've even seen kids that didn't lived through them asking for them to return. Hell that also applies on other things as well not just on these 2, such as retro gaming (from arcade till the generation of PS2/360), movies and series (many people asked me if I could give them the X-files series as well as others) and so the list goes on.
      And it's not only millennials and Gen X, but Gen Z as well and apparently they seem to enjoy all these and these 2 style more, for example a kid asked me how and if he can change his win 11 aesthetic into win 7 and he was happy as hell when I helped him.
      So it's probably more of a company issue.

    how do people with a modern humor (people who say "bro thinks he" "goofy ahh goober" ":skull:" "blud") even say that this is nostalgic to them?

    • @ekaterinaobraztsova4631
      @ekaterinaobraztsova4631 Před 7 dny +1

      Nostalgia is about missing the past. They were probably young during that time period. Plus, you can grow on trends and use modern language while simultaneously liking things from the past.
