Love the video, and it takes me an solid 30 mins to breakdown a 14-18 car train and spot cars in my Gunnison yard. That is just putting cars into a holding track. I suppose it would take longer to spot cars at specific industries. This bodes well for operations as I would keep someone busy between arrivals and departures. Fun video and thanks for sharing.
Most of the coal that came into Gunnison was from the Crested Butte and Baldwin branches. I’m going to make some fake loads of coal for my high side gondola’s and drop bottom Gondola’s as well
Nice little ops! Gives me a good idea on how long it’ll take me to switch out industries with small steam at the same speeds. I was worried a 50 foot run 10-15 scale mph would be only a couple minutes long but now? I’m sure I can make it 4-5 minutes without interruption and excluding switching industries which at this speed I assume will take a couple minutes or so minutes per industry if it’s a pick and pull. Whenever I eventually start and upload them I was aiming for 10-15 minutes. Thank you for sharing love your layout
I never dreamed it would take almost 10 minutes to switch the freight Depot, but when you have a small layout you run slower. Thanks for your kinds words👍🚂

Nice poem…here’s one you probably have heard already…My Job..it’s not my place to run the train, the whistle I can’t blow, it’s not my place to say how far the trains allowed to go, it’s not my place to shoot off steam, or even clang the bell, BUT let the damn thing jump the track, and see who catches hell,
