A Boy's Pet Rattlesnake In The Bedroom (Boys Will Be Boys)

@Ted-Says - A man rushes into a bedroom and finds a rattlesnake lying on the bed, whilst in the corner a woman cowers. Before the man can deal with it, the snake is shot dead from the doorway by the oldest of a band of siblings, two sisters and four brothers. The snake turns out to be a "pet" belonging to the youngest boy, who unhappily removes the dead rattler when ordered to do so by the angry man (who some viewers will recognise as Stacy Keach, also the teenager in the dressing gown as Robby Benson).

This scene spurred a vague memory of having seen the movie long ago. As Stacy Keach learned, the road to hell - rattling snakes (never a good thing when they rattle) and other perils - is paved with good intentions when he offered to drive the boy carrying a heavy bag of groceries home at the start of the movie. Sadly though, his intentions would likely be viewed differntly today.
