The skateboard culture in India is Super new and many skater struggle to have equipment, good skatepark and not getting kick-out in the street.
I came to India to Show the Real Reality Of Skateboarding In India in this video i met up with 3 of the best skater of the country . Skater and youtuber @KushalGaikwad show me the street life .
I think that skater in India are super resilient and talented. They are been skating for less that 10 years and i was really impressed by the skill and style they have .

This is a special video to me because I am american but had to move to india due to my dads job, I have some of these guys on facebook but haven't contacted them in 5 years but its really great to see that theyre still doing well.

That's cool . Their style and selection of tricks is different in n a good way . being that India is such a young population i think india would be a huge mecca for skating. Would be epic to see a wave of skateboarders innovating there

@@Theskatenomad it’s super interesting to see skaters in 3rd world countries when skateboarding is very new. They don’t really have style developed yet for the most part, but are throwing down much more advanced tricks than one would expect. I wonder if it’s because they get their influence for skate videos and the internet, rather than from other skaters that they watched growing up. So they just start out trying to emulate the advanced stuff they are seeing through media. Awesome to see, I bet in 10 years these kids will pro level
@@PurpmasterWell I hope so but the harsh truth is that they will not be skating anymore in next 10 years they will be working in a small company for money 💰. This is the reality of 3rd world nations .
Although it's not all true I am a skater from India and I am pretty Privileged and can do skating even after 10 years without worrying about money so there is still hope out there

Wow what an incredible video!! Im English and I spent 5 years in Goa, did a bit of body boarding n mountain biking there but never saw any skateboarding. Certainly nothing like the Mumbai crew hah. It must have been tough skating in that heat/humidy bro. Real tough!

You guys should fix the lamp with a small very cheap solar panel on top of it, some salvaged batteries ..some classic Indian engineering, it could be done.

I'm from Belitung, Indonesia. Here there is no skate park for us, no support for us. always get kicked out when playing but we will continue to do it

Bro, if they have skatepark in the city then they are no where near a hard spot. In theory they're in a pretty good spot with lots of western brand being able to reach out to the scene. There's lots of place in Asia that has 0 free public skatepark, there's not even enough proper skate spot to be kickout of. Japan would consider to be one of the condition where getting boards and gears is hard and they still thrive.
It doesn’t mean that they are place worst than it’s not hard over there. As a full time traveller, Skater from Mumbai have it hard like a lot of other place as well

Yeah… that’s the superior culture they all drone on about, while living in the UK, Canada, or America… They’re building a space program when their cities look like that… India definitely has its priorities in order.
