Now I remember why her Skill mechanism looks so familiar - it's a modified version of one of the events where we can snapshot a group of enemies to trigger a large burst of damage onto them.

Yes. I am very sure that event was an alpha test by Mihoyo to see if this idea will work for her kit. I think that's such a clever way of testing future kit concepts tbh, through events.
Her resource pickup alone makes her a must pull for me.

I played her for about 2 minutes before I knew she was powerful. After about an hour I’m almost certain she’s a top 5 character. She’s fun too, its addicting to go pick stuff up in camera mode.
She's a MONSTER.... She turned my abyss into a joke at c0 lvl70 and talents 6 6 6
After Raiden Shogun, we got a worthy next Archon and together with Klee the top cutest character in the game. Absolutely love her and her personality in the story, gameplay is super fun and artifact and team building options are endless. A dream of a character!

I imagine the mind reading aspect of her elemental skill is lore-wise tied to if the target is wearing an akasha terminal. I haven't been to Aaru since the update yet though (and also idek if they wear akasha terminals there), so I might be wrong

Lore wise, I'm pretty sure it's everyone Akasha Terminal or not. In game, it seems to be exclusively NPC's in Sumeru city and only the ones you can talk to
desert people dont wear akashas but you can still read their minds

Not only is she extremely adorable and can collect items with ease, she also makes some sounds when jumping or gliding which sounds like musical notes. I really like how unique her passive is, it really makes her feel like an archon. also, i discovered it work with both tap and hold variations, which can be useful if you're close-up and trying to gather a bunch of things, or to smack NPCs with dendro energy and force them to tell you what they're thinking.

Her weapon took me 2 bows but omg I’m so happy, saving since march for her
I've used Gilded Dreams (EM/Dendro DMG/ Crit Rate) + Widsith build with her both as an on-field driver and as an off field support and I'm pretty satisfied with it on both playstyles. She ends up with with around 950EM (and at one point she had 1100EM which made my jaw drop) which equals great reaction damage.
I'm planning on trying a full EM build on her soon with both the GD and DwM sets once I manage to snag more EM pieces but as of right now I'm totally satisfied with how she is.

I am using Nahida with Xingqiu, Kuki Shinobu and Nilou as the DPS. It is working well for me. There aren't even very upgraded yet, and still they are out performing other teams I have put together.

I'm gonna get together a full Archon Team (Raiden EM build) and see how well I will do in Spiral Abyss :)
One interesting thing is that she actually has a very low energy cost in her burst. It's 50 only and even electro resonance can do it enough
Plus it has a duration that at base is longer than its cooldown, and this is further increased based on the quantity of hydro characters in the party. Meaning the rate of energy per second you need to earn on average is even lower than that of other characters.
Nahida is definitely my favorite archon. Tied for my favorite character ever. I use r5 lost prayer on mine and use as on field dps. Team is love is C2R5 Kazuha, Zhongli as healer, Nahida, C6R5 Yae
