- Happy Birthday, Red Bull Cliff Diving! 2022 marks the 25th anniversary of the first ever event in Brontallo, Switzerland. The legend of the sport Orlando Duque traces the roots of Cliff Diving in Switzerland all the way back to the early 80s and how a group of thrill seekers became pioneers for what would become a global sensation in sports. On his way to the key locations across the country, he meets with different generations of the sport such as Matthias Appenzeller, Mäge Frei and Peter Ruedi.

Red Bull Cliff Diving feiert sein 25-jähriges Jubiläum des allerersten events in Brontallo in der Schweiz. Zur Feier des Jubiläums ist Cliff Diving Legende Orlando Duque auf der Spur des Ursprung des Sports in der Schweiz, welcher sich bis in die frühen 80er Jahre zurückverfolgen lässt. Eine Gruppe von Abenteurern waren damals wegbereitend für den Sport Cliff Diving, der sich später in ein globales Ereignis weiterentwickelte. Auf seiner Reise durchs Land trifft Orlando Duque verschiedene Generationen die Cliff Diving in der Schweiz geprägt haben. Dazu zählen Red Bull Cliff Diving Wildcard Matthias Appenzeller und die Schweizer Cliff Diving Legenden Mäge Frei und Peter Ruedi.

time! 22 years ago, in the year 2000,
Orlando was competing in my home
town Podgorica, the capitol of Montenegro, Europe. He jumped,
head first, from the scariest brigde
on our main river. It's a historic bridge from the 17.th century,
water there is very fast and deep at
winter, so people often choose to
cross the river on the other bridges.
Orlando came to that bridge at
summer, he won the competition,
and he also won a HUDGE RESPECT
from a very tough crowd here in
Montenegro. He was not only the
best diver but also the most humble
among all... Today if you ask somebody in Montenegro about cliff diving they will all say Orlando!
I would really like to know if he
still remembers, cosidering that
he was all over the world, being
here in Montenegro competing
that year?

Thank you so much......yes there are important reasons. Red Bull infringed the copyright of WHDF in many sequences of the clip and they tried to twist facts regarding the story of cliff diving as a sports discipline.
