Capri RS2600 REVIVAL- Episode 4, Kügelfischer Mechanical Fuel Injection

My plan is to get Ford Capri RS2600 cologne V6 engine running before doing any body work. And to get engine running I need to check Kugelfisher mechanical fuel pump first cause it could be showstopper for whole project.

Why are we mandated to run EFI? Kugelfischer mechanical injection stays in tune and had no ECU to go braindead. Mechanical injection is more reliable so over time I think it's emissions are lower. I wish auto manufacturers could ditch EFI and return to Kugelfischer mechanical injection. You tell me why not, ok?
