Well, it's a great *price* for these great tools. Not sure why you'd want to use a Teldex verb on a library recorded in that space other than to make it a little wetter sounding. But I'd recommend Berlin Orchestra at this price to anyone looking for their first hobbyist / semi-pro level library!
It's for blending other instruments into Teldex for a more unified sound.
@@artemakmulin2563 That does make sense!
Thanks for the lovely feedback. Berlin Studio is definitely a useful tool to get a wetter sound from Berlin Orchestra, but it's also perfect for blending Teldex into other collections, or even your own organic recordings!
Don’t forget about OT’s dry sounding libraries such as Nocturne Violin & Cello or some of the Creative Soundpacks - it was my dream to have such a reverb to put them in one space with Berlin series libraries ❤️🔥
You use the verb to put everything else in the teldex scoring stage, also it has the individual mic positions for each orchestral section. Like the reverb reacts to where the first violins sit. Get it. It's the best thing ever made.
So the obvious question is that since Berlin Studio allows you to place your libraries in Teldex and the Berlin Orchestra was recorded in Teldex, so why this bundle? P.S.: Berlin studio does a great job of putting other non-Berlin libraries in Teldex--I use it all the time for this purpose.
I think your P.S. answers the original question :3 I was a little confused at first too. The bundle seems to be for people who have other libraries or live recordings they want to blend with the Teldex sound, but DON'T already have an orchestral library recorded in Teldex. Which I feel like is going to be a small number of people among the crowd that will ever see this trailer, but as always, I hope it does well.
There's another reason why this might be useful. The Berlin Berklee version that this comes with has a default mic mix that you can't change, that blends tree and close mic for every instrument. It is a very strange mic mix IMO, and can make the orchestra all feel very equidistant, as though the strings and brass and winds are all crammed into the same small part of a large stage. If I only had this library I would need to add reverb to the brass etc to push them back and get that sense of front-to-back instead of just having an equidistant wall of instruments. Berlin Studio could potentially work for that.
Can you please make a video of someone from OT (maybe Hendrik? ☺️☺️☺️) using them both in context? 😁
Keep your eyes peeled 👀
So, what happens if we already own Berlin Studio reverb? Couldn’t find the answer in the FAQs.
Unfortunately, then you are not eligible for this promotional offer.
I've been doing this for a year and a half now. You guys are givin away all of the good secrets. :/
I didn't even know there was an IR for Teldex (to be fair, I never looked.) I already have the Berlin series, but I'll definitely be picking up Berlin Studio. Such a great sound.
