does the swtich axe do more damage when the axe bar is glowing red??

Glowing red? Could you tell me at what minute did you notice this so I can better understand what you mean?

@@Benjiboi at minute 7:25 when you have it in axe mode it glows a little red on top, and I notice it when I used too, but I'm curious on why does it glow, or is just for show?..

@@runspenstinski you probably already got an answer by now, but that red glow means that the switchaxe is in a charged state, meaning any attacks in sword mode while this is active causes the switchaxe to charge to its amped state faster. As indicated by the blue outline.
Though not many people use this, since it isn’t too difficult to amp the weapon, it does help with power phial switchaxe, since they take longer to charge up than elemental phials.
