Maharaja escaped that person from someone else's custody, where 350 sikh soliders sacrificed their lives.
And later maharaja bought the kohinoor with the gold.
Please make some corrections, as Nadir Shah Durrani was a Persian king. He was not Afghan. He looted Kohinoor Diamond from the Mughal emperor "Rangeela Shah" but soon after returning to Iran he was assassinated and one of his Afghan commander "Ahmed Shah Abdali" took all booty including the Kohinoor diamond and escaped to Afghanistan (Kandahar) from Iran with his 5000 Pashtun soldiers and established his own kingdom "Afghanistan" (disintegrated from Persian Empire). Shuja Khan was his grandson who had to exile during a battle with his own brother for throne and struck a deal with Maharaja Ranjeet Singh, who provided him refuge in Lahore. He brought Kohinoor diamond with him, which he handed over to Maharaja Ranjeet Singh under twisted arm. Later, after the fall of Sikh empire that diamond was taken (robbed) by British and gifted to Queen.
Apart from that Kashmir was sold for 75 lac (not 50 lac).
And gulab singh is converted sikh originally he was kashmiri pandit

OSM LECTURE MAM... 👌...but little bit correction here.. kashmir was not sold in 50 lakh rupes....it was sold on 75 lakh Guru Nanak rupees to Maharaja Gulab singh on 16th March 1846 ....it is known as "Treaty of Amritsar".
