Probably my most interesting flight into PHX ever. Bumpy departure out of LAX and the "rock a bye baby" didn't subside the entire flight. Incliment weather in western Arizona and the Phoenix area provided an interesting route for us. Leaving LAX we flew northeast, passing just south of Las Vegas then cut southward into the phoenix area, being vectored around storms on the way in. It amazes me early or late in the day how a few thousand feet of altitude effect ambient daylight and how it gets significantly darker as you near the ground. Of course in this case, storm clouds may have helped a little as well.

No music, no fast forwarding, great filming and engine view point, awesome plane, awesome weather, great approach and landing. PERFECT!

Excellent filming, thanks for sharing!
At least it wasn't 127 DEGREES ! ........... Come back in JULY !
Been on the ramp there in the middle of summer, which was better than being in the jet bridge that had inop climate control at the time.
