I've watched this video to check compatibility and what I missed was whether an Elite force/Umarex original extended mag (for 18c) would fit in a Glock 17 gen 4, and I just wanted to tell future searchers that it does indeed fit, and clicks nicely.
Oh hai Jordan... The problem is that the +2 mag butt does not come separately anywhere. The +2 extended plate only comes with some of the included CO2 mags (that come with the G17 Gen4 CO2), so it looks like you can't purchase it online anywhere. Your best bet is to check the airsoft app HopUp, or maybe Ebay for people selling mags that have the butt plate.
Oh and with the fill valve, there is no extended plate that won't cover the gas fill valve. You'd have to drill a hole yourself; Which the plate is too large to fit a green gas bottle on top of anyway...
WE 50rd extended mag for elite force Glock 17 does work but I noticed after using it for 2 weeks my mag release button started to stick and my official elite force mag wouldn’t click in the same way it used to. I had to keep messing with both to get it to stop sticking so I don’t recommend getting a WE mag for it or at least the 50rd one because it’s messing something up on the internals
My WE mags fit in my EF G19 but the slide catch is extremely unreliable and I get many misfeeds. The EF mags work perfect in my WE Glock though. I'll sell all my 7 WE mags and stock up on EF mags, even though they are more expensive...
I used my WE's mags in my EF Glock, but the WE mags are way less gas efficient, cool down way quicker, spew gas out of the rear end (pun intended) with every shot. Also the mags gave me e lower FPS. Sold my mags to buy original ones..

Do all those mags have rectangular gas holes up top? You don't seem to be very keen on showing that part of the magazines to show the size/shape of the hole. Out of all the mags you showed, only 1 (KJW) you actually openly showed the top. Anyway, both mags of my WE G19 MOS has a square hole, matching the opening in the nozzle part in the slide assembly. How big of a compatibility issue is that with ones that have rectangular holes? And can these mags be used in similar pistols that use a rectangular interface?
Looking to get one of these. Depending on the difficulty, is it possible to switch the slide release to the left side since I'm left handed? If it's too much effort, I'll just get a ton of practice. Also thanks for showing that you can fire it with gas in the magazine and no bbs, never used a green gas airsoft gun before, only spring.
(old comment ik, for future reference) you can buy the extended mags from umarex or any airsoft online store just search for "elite force 18c mags" they fit all of elite force glocks im pretty sure, and you can find the elite force glocks on umarex's website
Man I have a Umarex Glock 17 Gen4 CO2 Powered and I bought some extra mags for 30 dollars, the mags are supposed to fit my Umarex Glock 17 but they don’t, I checked around the Glock box and somewhere in the box says Elite Force but also says Umarex, so I’m pretty confused, the pistol on the trigger says Umarex product and the mags I bought are supposed to be Umarex as well but they don’t fit.. 😢 Edit: I was checking the post in eBay that sells this mags, it says that it only fits KWC Umarex Glock 17 Gen4.. I think that’s the answer to my problem sadly 🫠

Never seen or used the co2 mag but you need to make sure the factory gbb nozzle is to spec to hold up to the pressures of co2. otherwise you will grenade the nozzle.

It’s hard for me to answer this as I have been using the oem mag most of the guns life. Everything cycles like normal on mine with the use of the we mags so I cant imagine it would accelerate the wear down on the parts.

Radim Gecelovský The Elite Force 1911 is made by KWC, and as such will accept any KWC-based 1911 magazines. However, it will not function with green gas magazines or any other brand’s magazines, if I’m not mistaken.

Sounds like it’s because they were made by different companies. Yet BOTH are sold as Umarex/Elite Force G17 gen4. So confusing?! So what’s the difference? And which has the flat base and which has the extended base? And what’s better? - I look for. No wobble. Tight build. Decent kick and power. - PS would only the VFC one have that dual spring style? I’d like to know how to tell the difference
Probably the brand to go with these days in Elite Force. They offer many variants and in Co2 as well. ( I plan on reviewing one very soon!) My experience with the brand is that its great! The built is quality and you know you get behind a brand that is somewhat reputable. VFC is non-existent from what I can tell as I cant find any anywhere, at least when I was looking couple years back. Could have changed by then. I would recommend to check out some videos of the co2 model.
Basically all will fit the same. Keep in mind and this is just an example... If you have a g17, the g23, g19, g26, mags will not work. Only we g17, 18c, 34/35, extended mag will. Hpwever, if you have a g26, every single mag in the we glock line up will work.
Great video. That's interesting about the kickback you mentioned on the 50 round mag being very strong. I did an fps/performance video reviewing the WE tech mags vs the OEM Elite Force mags and although comparable, the standard WE G17 mags appeared to be slightly lower in performance and cycles the slide differently thant the EF mags. I feel like it won’t. I have not tested so this is just assumption and using my common knowledge. Co2 and green gas mags have a different design to them, different widths, different valve sizing, different rubber ports that expel the gas. I feel the mag may not fit snug or even fire at all. I would just use caution to avoid damage if you are testing this yourself. The only time I use co2 and gas mags on one gun is if it’s designed for both. For example like my kjw p226, it came with a co2 and green gas mag and works with both.
@@MaxCherepenin Someone told me that's what they did to avoid the $45 price tag on the EF co2 mags. I ordered a cpl WE mags today so I'll let you know next week if it works or not.
I have not tested this myself since I do not have one, at least for now. But I can’t imagine that the notch in the mag is any different from prior gen mags same with the thickness of the mag in theory, it may work. Again not certain.

You would want it on the right side if you're left handed, it's already on the left side.

Try the aw sai blu mags(red rubber)...they seem to shoot hotter than the regular ones.
Is there a reason for that? Maybe better valves to keep excess gas from escaping during each shot?

Blowbackunit and slide can be irreparable damaged. Don't do it, co2 will break your green gas gun.

I have not tested this myself since I do not have one, at least for now. But I can’t imagine that the notch in the mag is any different from prior gen mags same with the thickness of the mag in theory, it may work. Again not certain.
Are the elite force mags able to fit we tech ones?
They should since the sizing is the same.
