So, let's download the TP-Link VIGI app.
Once installed, open and login.
Tap the Plus sign, scan the QR code, and enter the admin password that you set on the NVR.
Once that's done, you'll see your NVR and cameras in the My Devices tab.
What I always do first with any app is adjust some settings like,
Hide empty channels;
change notifications for events, camera offline or firmware update;
Hard drive loop recording and status;
Video encryption;
Device information;
Change password;
Reboot schedule;
etc.
In the VIGI app, we can view a livestream of our camera.
We can also watch playback, and record them as well.
What I hate about the old analog cctv ay yung cable nila.
It's harder to bend;
very sensitive at fragile connectors;
anghirap din i-access dahil masikip at dikit-dikit yung ports;
at kelangan mo pa push and unscrew motion;
Ta's kung kita niyo sa video, may mga artifact or ghosting sa mga camera,
na lumalabas din sa recordings, at syempre nakakadegrade sa video.
Hindi tulad dito sa Digital NVR,
Mas madali mag-install at test ng cable.
Mas accessible ang ports dahil isang hilera lang sila.
Consistent signal at malinaw all throughout.
At sa nabili kong set, napansin ko na significantly mas malaki yung camera,
so posibleng mas malaki sensor at mas maganda for low-light recording.

Naging madali lang sakin ang installation dahil sanay na ko sa pag-setup ng Ethernet cable
at kumpleto din ako ng gamit;
tulad ng Cat6 UTP cable, RJ45 connectors, crimping tool,
at minana yung hard disk galing sa lumang cctv.
So, nagustuhan ko siya dahil nga malinaw, malinis, madali install.
Digital siya at may ip address, so namo-monitor ko sa computer gamit Solarwinds ipMonitor.
One week ko palang nase-setup kaya hindi ko pa masabi
kung totoo bang kaya yung 205 days on a 1TB storage.
In the future, baka testingin ko din yung ibang ONVIF-compatible camera.
