What is going on? This is Brian G.
And today, I'll be showing you the cheapest U3/V30-class microSD card that you can find in the Philippines.
Is it too good to be true? Let's find out.
What we have here is a Trancend 128GB micro SD card for only 459 Pesos in Shopee, and 434 in Lazada.
For those who doesn't know, Transcend has been a long time brand making flash drives and computer memory/RAM.
This microSD card is a part of the 300S lineup, and their speed vary according to storage capacity.
Again, we got the 128GB, so we have up to 100 MB/s read and 40 MB/s write, according to their page.
I'll be using this USB 3.2 Gen1 card reader with CrystalDiskMark, H2testw and actual file transfers on my PC.
For real-life testing, I'll be using the card on the Insta360 X3 at its highest settings that can generate files at about 1GB per minute.
Let's jump to the test results.
On CrystalDiskMark, we got 97 MB/s and 40 MB/s sequential read and write speeds, respectively.
We won't worry much about the random read and write speeds since we'll be using this for action cams, which makes a handful of large files instead of numerous tiny ones.
On H2testw, We got a similar read and write speeds, and confirmed that this card's capacity is real.
For actual file transfers, we get speeds steady above 90 MB/s when copying from the card.
But when copying files to the card, things got a bit shaky.
It's moving up to 54 MB/s then down to 16 MB/s and generating a wave graph, which is very concerning.
On the Insta360 X3, I took a video at 5.7k 30fps and it was able to record up to 12 minutes until it stopped recording due to low SD card speed. ooof
I tried it again with a cooler attached to it thinking it might help, but it didn't even get past 12 minutes until it stopped recirding again due to low SD card speed.
The wave-like transfer speed did affect its real life performanc.
I tried using my spare Sandisk Ultra micro SD card, which has a C10 rating, and that was able to record up to 27 minutes.
The only reason it stopped is due to the camera overheating, and not the card's fault.
Sandisk Ultra has a lower transfer speed when copying to the card, but it's very steady.
So... I wouldn't recommend this one. I won't even put affiliate links in the description for this card.
They could say it's an average of 40MB/s write speed, but that's not enough for my camera.
I would advice to stay away from this and just go another brand.
Buy Sandisk Extreme perhaps because I already tried it and using it as my main card for the Insta360 X3.

And today, I'll be showing you the cheapest U3/V30-class microSD card that you can find in the Philippines.
Is it too good to be true? Let's find out.
What we have here is a Trancend 128GB micro SD card for only 459 Pesos in Shopee, and 434 in Lazada.
For those who doesn't know, Transcend has been a long time brand making flash drives and computer memory/RAM.
This microSD card is a part of the 300S lineup, and their speed vary according to storage capacity.
Again, we got the 128GB, so we have up to 100 MB/s read and 40 MB/s write, according to their page.
I'll be using this USB 3.2 Gen1 card reader with CrystalDiskMark, H2testw and actual file transfers on my PC.
For real-life testing, I'll be using the card on the Insta360 X3 at its highest settings that can generate files at about 1GB per minute.
Let's jump to the test results.
On CrystalDiskMark, we got 97 MB/s and 40 MB/s sequential read and write speeds, respectively.
We won't worry much about the random read and write speeds since we'll be using this for action cams, which makes a handful of large files instead of numerous tiny ones.
On H2testw, We got a similar read and write speeds, and confirmed that this card's capacity is real.
For actual file transfers, we get speeds steady above 90 MB/s when copying from the card.
But when copying files to the card, things got a bit shaky.
It's moving up to 54 MB/s then down to 16 MB/s and generating a wave graph, which is very concerning.
On the Insta360 X3, I took a video at 5.7k 30fps and it was able to record up to 12 minutes until it stopped recording due to low SD card speed. ooof

How did u connect to network ? did u insert a internet lan to poe switch or poe switch has wifi
No Wifi for the poe switch, so it is wired. The switch has 6 ports (Ports 1 to 4 for PoE, then Ports 5 and 6 for the NVR and to the Internet router).

Hindi rin. Maganda talaga Amazon tablets, hindi naglalag. Bihira ka lang makakita ng reklamo na naglalag siya. Syempre depende sa usage mo at kung ano lang limitations ng tablet mo, wag mo rin masyado aabusuhin. Pero super ganda ng specs niya. Worth it rin bilhin.

Yep. Di siya nakalagay sa manual pero need mo i-long press yung share button (yung left side start button) pati yung ps key para mag pairing mode siya.

@ztjatj berable enough, but I think you won't get satisfied with the square triangle circle cross buttons. But for me I use it fine, however not the best for fighting games but for the price I can't complain

Yes po. Nagre-record pa rin kahit hindi connected sa internet. Kumbaga, nag-uusap lang sila locally.
