- Have you noticed that your Lightroom Classic Collections are not syncing with the cloud anymore?
Have you seen the little icons next to the collections are missing, meaning they are not syncing to the cloud?
Here is how I found I could get them back in a few second.

Are you kidding me??? Been scratching my head for the past hour and you solved it in second. Thanks mate, I've subbed right away.
Glad I could help, and thanks for the sub!
I spent an hour in a “chat” with Adobe help technicians trying to solve this exact problem. The first tech didn’t understand the feature or seem to have any awareness the feature existed. The second tech took control of my computer, played around for a while and then lost contact with me after instructing me to restart my computer. Problem not solved till I found your video. Thank you so much,
My pleasure. I doubt Adobe would want to offer this solution as the official one!! 😂
Richard!!!! Thank you so much! Like many others, this was an hour or more of trying to find this. Got a like and a sub for that one!
Glad it helped and thanks for the sub. Really appreciated 🙏🙏
Worked perfectly for me. I was searching forums Adobe and all over the web for a couple hoursa Thank you!

My pleasure. Glad it helped! And thanks for watching!!
Thanks Richard. Adobe, who are always very helpful on the phone, helped me with this glitch recently. However, it took them about 45 minutes and involved deleting and then recreating all those hard to find Library files in hidden system directories that get created and apparently can get corrupted occasionally. If it happens again, I will try your method first.
You are a godsend. Thank you!
Life saver THANK YOU!!!!
More than welcome, it's great finding these little tricks that help! Thanks for the comment.

NOT working on my side... I am getting very tired of working with Adobe so far, any advices to change tools and brand ?
there is def an issue with the last update. I haven't had this many problems in years. what I have to do it pause sync, then recheck sync and that kickstarts the program to see the images clients have chosen and get my photos uploaded. such an annoying little problem that LR customer programmers need to fix
Agreed, but at least there is a quick fix for the moment...Thanks for the comment
Flipn eck, that saved me some time m8. It seemed to coincide with a software update for me.
Glad it helped! Thanks for taking the time to comment.
I am not sure what is happening but this is my situation.
I am working on my portfolio and I want to share my photos with my teacher so she can review, select and make proposals. What I wanted to is to sync my portfolio photos from Lightroom Classic to Adobe Lightroom (web).
What I did was:
1. Created a Collection out of a Folder
2. Sync LrC to Lr.
3. My pictures synced but it was a mess, so
4. I removed all photos from Lr.
5. I synced again LrC to Lr.
6. The result is that only one photo synced.
Issue: It's been several attempts and only one photo is syncing into Lr. By some reason, in my Lightroom Mobile 21 photos were synced.
Can't figure out what is happening. Should I just uninstall everything and start again?
When you say it was a mess, what do you mean? What happens if you click on the cloud icon in the top right of LrC, and when the dialogue box comes up, hit Alt (windows) or Option (Mac) and click View Sync Status on Web. Anything look odd there?
@@richardchubbUK By mess I refer that my previous syncs included duplicated photos, and were not done appropriately, and that was probably incorrectly done by myself, therefore I proceeded to remove everything and resync the collection I wanted but then it happened what I explained.
What I did to continue with what I was doing is to create a new catalog out of my "portfolio folder" in LrC. I opened the new catalog in LrC and then synced to Lr, which it worked, but again, 9 photos are missing. I thought some of the photo might be duplicated and checked which ones were virtual copies, but I counted only 6 virtual copies in LrC and don't tie up to the 9 missing in Lr.
Is there a possibility my catalogs are corrupted? Or am I doing something wrong? Could it be that when I deleted photos in Lr somehow it instructed LrC to not allow sync anymore from that original folder? Does that work that way?
For now I will continue with the work but if you can shed some light would be great.
Welp, it didn't work for me. I feel like I've tried everything and I simply can't sync Lightroom mobile with desktop for the past day. I will keep your method in mind though!
This video is to resume syncing Lightroom Classic with Cloud, which I accept will then sync to mobile.
An obvious thing to check, so please excuse me, is to make sure you have Syncing turned on on your devices, and they are signed into the same account? Apologies if that is stating the obvious
