Well when that one person can play like Trey. Most players couldn't pull it off. Very few can get that kinda sound from acoustic guitar. He's up there with Tony, Doc,and Mr. Travis
One of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE George Strait songs. I play it every time I have my guitar out. I SO MUCH wish I could play it as well as you do, but I can’t, so I just have to be content with my version. LOVE WHAT YOU DO!!!!!!
My dad showed me Treys music last year, I can't believe I had never heard of him, especially living in SWVA but I am to the point now where I listen to these covers maybe more than originals now! Incredible voice, incredible guitar playing on all of them!
Trey could you possibly cover a Jazz Standard called “Take The A Train” I just think it would sound so good with a Bluegrass country sound with a swing feel.
Not sure if your a singer first or a guitar player first but you sound amazing in both. George Straight led me to your channel. Well done, from Canada…
I am so wanting to do this! I’m in the process of getting an acoustic guitar. Looks like he’s just recording using his phone and it does sound really good! To me at least. I wanna be able to use what I have. Don’t wanna buy a bunch of gear I don’t need or won’t use in order to get quality audio and video. Welll done Trey!
Dude can sing play better than anyone I’ve ever seen. May not be the best guitar picker, may not be best singer, but he definitely can do both exceptionally well.
I knew you'd do a splendid cover of this one. Your vocals are impeccably accurate, and with those little slides you add, you really tug at the heartstrings. The playing is tasteful, but crystalline, as befits the ballad mood. These days, as I'm sure you've heard, live vocal performances in streaming settings are being pitch corrected, and that really tears me up; I don't have anything like a sense of perfect pitch, but I can see you need none of those gimmicks. You are the real deal, man, an artist, and I consider it a privilege to be able to pass my comments directly along to you. By the way, a long time ago, I spent a couple of summers as a geology student based south of Hoback Junction in western Wyoming. It has a special place in my memory.
Awesome playin and singin a great song Songwriter(s): Aaron Barker Erv Woolsey Have a FB friend that can play like you but just hates GS I think he would appreciate this one
Trey, it’s unreal how well you make that guitar SING
So much more impactful when it's one person and a guitar than when there's a band and production involved. Well done Trey...

If there is healing for this crazy world, it’s through music. Real heart felt music. Such talent! Magic!

Sing it Trey...sing it brother
that intro is top notch bud
Bro can you and rob put out a acoustic album of covers only? My Lord that would be amazing
I’m with you on that score. If Steve Earle can do it then it has to be a good thing 😂
Good Lord! It’s like a mix of Keith Whitley and Skip Ewing singing George… Great voice!
Thanks awesome rendition if you are taking George strait requests would enjoy seeing you play carried away and blue clear sky from that album
Dude can sing play better than anyone I’ve ever seen. May not be the best guitar picker, may not be best singer, but he definitely can do both exceptionally well.

Hey Trey, it's "short go" , not short row. The Short Go is a rodeo finals term. Great job as always.

Little America in Cheyenne?

Dude picks better than Billy Strings and sings like Chris Young/Randy Travis 😮
Excellent!
