Omg I’m so mad at myself for not knowing this. I love TMNT
same! I forgot TMNT was made in 1983 but I had 0 clue about this fact!
Error! Error! The TMNT were created in 1984! Not 1983
All I could come up with was the Kronos Quartet, which, uh, isn't fictional and was started in the 1970s. Good win by Amy!
A 5 day champ! Congrats!
Pretty big spoiler in the description, jeez...
Mate that's your fault for checking the description that early
@@joeym5243 Literally impossible to avoid on desktop.
@@joeym5243 Mate, the description pops up on the computer; no way around that as far as I know 🤷🏻♀️
It's only a spoiler if you know the context. Which, by definition, makes it not a spoiler.
@@jessicag3532 I had no problem avoiding looking at the description before I watched the video on my computer.
Ingeniously structured clue!
There’s an alternate quantum reality out there where the TMNT are Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, & Bernini. If you believe the Many Worlds interpretation.
Dang, already two 5-day champions. What kind of a world are we living in right now?
Also, Jeopardy Masters returns tomorrow! Get your popcorn ready and enjoy the show!
Congrats to Amy for notching her 5th win. Bryan has to be a contender for Second Chance; he would’ve locked Amy out had it not been for an unlucky all-in Daily Double.
Blew it! I started thinking of artistic movements instead of fictional groups. Should of stayed on topic and I would of gotten it!
She gets a copy of the home game and a years supply of turtle wax!
Don't forget the twenty-volume set of the Encyclopedia International!
Umm, just send pizza
🎵"Turtle Wax gives a hard shell finish TURTLE WAX!"🎵🐢
@@martyklestadt6766 Best of all, she didn't make herself look like a jerk in front of millions of people!
Heh. I guessed Spinal Tap.
Bang chung tonight!
Like a trick question. But clever and fun.
Wonder if they would have accepted TMNT as an answer?
Congratulations amy just keep on winning

Too late, it's in the descriptions, lol
I've read that if one puts the video in fullscreen mode on one's device, then the comments do not show up there, and can be read after one watches the video.
Not sure if that's true, but that's what I've heard.
Amy Rocks ! 🐢
Amy is 5 day champions. She will road to TOC. Congratulation !
Close game.
Fun fact: Because Raphael is in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I can technically remind that the last time Raphael came up in Final Jeopardy was in game 2 of the 2024 Tournament of Champions.
The question was: The Royal Academy of Arts has this man's "La Fornarina" & in the 1800s the RAA's love of him made some artists retreat to an earlier style.
First I thought of was the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. There's one in every generation, after all....
That was my guess, too.
Spoiler blocker
Looking at the contestants ' scores makes me think of two things- too many hard clues on today's show; and Mike Drummond and Claudia Coureirre, the co-champions on that classic episode from January 2016 who were both tied for the lead in Final Jeopardy and, of course, ended up as losers!
Jeopardy was a lot more interesting with Alex
In my heart he'll always be the one and only true Jeopardy host.
Too easy for us comic nerds!
The only group that came to mind was TNMT
I was thinking musical group, and thus didn't come up with the right response even though I am familiar with that group.
Teenage nutant minja turtles
I knew it was going to be the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles right away!
As soon as I saw the name in the clue, I thought: "Italian. Possibly Renaissance figure." So yeah, I got Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles right away.
Good for you.
I got this Final Jeopardy! clue right.

I like turtles
Easy one, but the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were really created in 1984 and not 1983 as the clue suggests.
No, they were created in 1983. The comic book came out in 1984.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
Teenage mutant ninja Turtles, that correct, congratulations Amy you have 5 day of $100,994.🎉
the hot lesban keeps wnng 😎
Another poor clue. Niche pop culture is never a good category especially when branded so vaguely as "fictional groups" and the answer is a full sentence long so you have to spend a substantial chunk of thinking time writing
TMNT is hardly what I would consider a niche, it has crossed over $17 BILLION as a franchise, comparable to Looney Tunes. The question was well written in my opinion
It was a good clue. It is something that you get quickly or you draw a blank.
I looked at that clue and it stumped me in that 30 second moment.
When I saw the first response, I knew it was right. Kicking myself for overthinking it.
@joeym5243 Yeah, I was thinking, "Niche?" I remember the height of Turtlemania. Niche stuff doesn't get manias.
@@joeym5243 except for the year which should have been 1984.
feel like this was the easiest one in a long while
