Which one are you?
Probably a mix between the gen Jockey and the sneaky squad, but I play Felix
Gen jockey & runner, lmao
Runner
The first oneđđđ
I'm a toxic /runner / self care don't judge me pls
The babysitter. Spends the match running around unhooking and healing everyone else. Usually a Zarina or Jeff. Runs Aftercare, We'll Make It, and Deliverance because they're such a mom survivor they'll just unhook themselves.
ur such a blessing to this earth
Yup
Usually Zarina, Jeff or STEVE HARRINGTON
Straight Facts! I'm a Zarina main, I always try to help other player survivors and go back to unhook when gates are opened unless they're already in the final stage of being hooked.
thats just the team altruism they go and save everyone else
I'm the gen jockey who always finds himself being chased as soon as the first gen pops
literally same, fucking hate it
@@1x5x7 I have just started using PC and turns out I might be better as a distraction
Meeeee toooooo đđđđ
I'm the same, but I use the perc that alerts you if the killer is looking in your direction (the cat pic). That will allow you to escape when he'scoming, walk for not making sprint red lines and hide behind a rock or something. And when you're 2 or 3 working on a gen, you'll know first that he's coming and can hide before he sees you, so he will focus the others.
@@Velnox I think you're referring to spine chill.
There was a match where I was playing as The Oni and it took place in the snowy fields. I had failed miserably in that game by completely missing everyone while they had fixed all the generators without taking any damage. By then when they had reached the gate I had just simply given up and did nothing, but then there were two survivors that went up to me and gestured me to follow them. They lead and pointed me to a hook and allowed me to hook them both once before escaping. It really made my day and showed me how wholesome people can be. đ
Wholesome :0
Your comment made my day toođ
Thank you đ
What was your rank at the time?
@@Bianka660BG Glad I could make your day! đ
As for my rank Boney Tony I think I was between level 20-30, that and the Snowy Fields is my least favourite map đ
@@raiden1395 so cute
The same thing happened to me but I was playing plague and being friendly to people and this nea didnât understand that til exits opened and her and her friends (it was a swf) let me get a hook because she didnât realize I was trying to bp farm with them
One new experience I have is that David players, for some ungodly reason, just commit seppuku the instant they go on their first hook and also unhook you in front of the killer without Borrowed Time, because I guess they hate living and they hate you living too.
I am a Dwight. (since he reminds me of me XD) I will unhook in front of the killer without borrowed time but I will then take a protection hit even if it means going down. Does that make me bad? :c
@@ThePigeon5734 No, you're okay. đ
@@charliestrange8192 yay :D
@@ThePigeon5734 I am a myers.
Cheryl who refuses to save if thereâs any sign of danger since I refuse to carry BT.
Edit: But I will take protection hits for people I deem worth it, if someone seems good at forwarding the objective or distracting Iâll help them out. I donât save deadweight though.

@iâm brĂžken Thatâs tough, there was a time where all my teammates ended up being hooked in the basement because they all tried to save me. I felt like I had to repay them so I went in the damn basement to see the killer there. Turns out I had Borrowed time and self heal on so when I went down there, he hit me and then I ended up saving every one in that damn basement. The most intense moment of my life.
@iâm brĂžken Gotta find a good group. Most of the time, itâs just me saving though. It sucks sometimes cause in the higher ranks, itâs either a well formed team which only happens sometimes, or a terrible team with bad sportsmanship and doesnât want to save anyone.
Same
@chĂžker get farmed lololol
Donât forget some of the Nancyâs who will prioritize totems over everything else, dull or hexed, you know itâs getting cleansed. Usually running detectives, small game, or inner strength
Iâm so sorry đ I play Nancy and I do have small game and inner strength.
Or all 3 of them.
Remember those Nancys who don't even bring Inner Strength and run Self-Care instead
âHi Nancy, have you met my friend Pentimento?â
Can I ask a question, why cleanse dull totems? They donât have any perks attached to them right, is there any other benefit besides maybe blood points.
I would honestly add P3 Claudette's to the first category as well. They're either urban evading around the whole game or they're gods who piss the killer off all game lol
so true lmao
P3 Claudettes can be anyone in this list. They simply *are*
I always manage to hit Claudette's first. lol The fun of being an Artist main and just yeeting crows at them, same with Mikaela's for some reason. It's always those two. (Love the characters themselves, just referring to the players of them, who seem to think they can hide and get too cocky about it.)
I'd add feng's to the list. I've had quite a few toxic fengs.
From my experience, the majority of skilled loopers are veteran Fengs, Neas and Claudettes. Whenever I play killer and I see any of those three survivors, I prepare because I know itâs going to be a rough match.
I'm the survivor who's bad at everything and just plays Cheryl because she's cute
Honestly, same here my friend, except itâs Yui for me
@@sabrinadelco9396 somewhat same, I donât really main any survivor though I did main Claudette and feng for a while... I guess I kinda main Steve but only when playing with my friend that main Nancy.
@@nuclearwolf9828 Heh, Iâm fairly new to survivor so honestly, my main is just who is aesthetically pleasing to me. I like Yuiâs rebel look honestly.
@@sabrinadelco9396 right like at first I mainly played the hillbilly as killer because I grew up on a ranch lmao, I get it.
@@nuclearwolf9828 thatâs actually kind of a dope connection! Iâve never played Billy too much, mostly because I kind of suck at aimingâŠ.

Omg i couldnât stop laughing when there was the bill on hook and the two bills running across the map for the save, and you just adding the adjectives made me laugh so hard hahaha so accurate
Same man! Still laughing. Lol.
Same!
Whole time I was like "huh, damn I'm not any of these"
And then my boi Bill appeared
Team guardian Angel represent
Exactly what I was thinking
The Totem Queen
-Mains either Jill or Nancy
Will ignore generators, teammates, and killers just to totem hunt. If a hex is around, you can count on Nancy or Jill to throw everything else aside and look at every damn corner for that sweet, sweet totem.
If you do a totem around The Totem Queens, you can count on either one of them to teabag right next to you hinting at you to "get the fuck off my totem."
If a Nancy main in wounded, you can count on them to hide in lockers after finding a totem.
If a Jill main cleanses a totem, you can count on them to haul ass to the other side of the map to cleanse another one.
The Supreme Totem Queen rocks both Counterforce and Inner Strength. If they're feeling a little extra spicy, they might even throw small game in there.
I did that when I got Jill but I still helped during the match, if I found a generator on my way Iâd stop by it
Heh.......... fvck I'm a totem qween
Replace hex totems in that comment with dull totems. God damn you, solo queue teammates! They have like an obsession with dull totems
This is just me when I have a totem challenge holy shit
Donât forget mikaelađč
I was playing nurse for the first time, and found a match with a full party of toxic survivors. Needless to say I did not have a good time.
That is definitely me the last time I played her after not playing for over 3 years. I got fucked but they had no mercy and teabagged me etc. That day I learned survivors are toxic.
Damn t.t we had a baby nurse recently and we all stayed and let the timer kill us. She thanked us because it was her first nurse match and she was learning the controls.

I use Feng min as a gen jockey lmao, I use those chase abilities to get as far as possible from the killer.
lol
Iâm more of a âwild cardâ by playing however I need to in order to win. The issue is that too many survivors are focused on annoying the killer, as a result I play as a sneaky âgen. jockeyâ 75% of the time and as an aggressive babysitter 25%.
Yeah I'm a wild card too. I am whatever the team needs me to be. You want to be a runner? Okay I'll be a gen jocky no issue. The team is going down too quick and needs help? I will baby sit you and patch you up, then point at a gen for you to do. People are having a hard time in chase with the killer or need a minute or two to reset? Alright I'll run the killer for as long as you need and possible.
Same here. I didn't feel like I fit into the categories listed. I do what is necessary to get gens done and do my best to make sure we all get out alive.
I usually repair the gens whenever somebody is being chased. If they donât get picked up immediately I go to hide in a locker until they get hooked and wait a bit until I think itâs safe to unhook them

You forgot the hook-bombers, that donât know how to go for a safe save and always try to when the killer is right behind them chasing them... I swear those people are the 2nd killer... always domino effecting the game and throwing it
agreed but i always do it w borrowed time
I always do it with borrowed time
Even then you should wait for some distance. Even bt safes are not that safe. It's better to let the killer run off for a bit and unhook at the edge of the killer's terror radius so BT still can safe the day but there is also a chance to heal after the unhook if the killer left the area.đ
Tbh, itâs unavoidable if the person is in second state.
@@hateithere5584 if the killer camps, yes, if he doesn't then you can keep your time, too.
I do Run Self Care, but it's so I can 99 my healing, and use my resilience to do gen rushing, I usually run Balanced Landing and borrowed time alongside these perks.
I've tried that earlier today. It wasn't bad and it REALLY irks the killers that you finish that last 1% in front of them so it will take more than one hit to get you.
Nerd alert
Hope you enjoy when a killer runs sloppy butcher.
You're my favourite kind of survivor to kill. lol I always get to gen rushers and self healers first by playing Artist. You can't escape my crows. :D

When you main Bill and this was just fucking spot on đ I even shout at other people going for the saves like "no, my bloodpoints" :')
I'm a killer main, but when I play survivor, I'm 100% Team Altruism (though with Jeff instead of Bill).
Lmfao that self care clauddets is so real
I'm new but... I may be that self care gamer... why is that bad?
@@king_tutt7063 its not necessarily bad...its mostly newbies who do that and its quite funny to see it...the reason its kinda annoying is that its really dumb to have the self care perk on yourself when u can have a bunch of better perks...also u don't need to heal urself after every hit when u can spend all that valuable time to fix gens or better yet get someone else to heal u much faster
What the hell bruh? Like seriously, not every single Claudette main is going to be as dumb and stupid whilst using self-care or something as stated in the memes, like the memes don't define every single Claudette main or just Claudettes who use self-care. I Personally think that it's totally there choice of what perk they're gonna use, self-care takes time but having to heal yourself without any assistance or a med-kit is still a very powerful skill the dumb community had to state it as a "bad perk" or if someone uses then "ew, such a typical Claudette", like bruh stop disrespecting Claudettes cause they're many useless but overrated survivors that I can roast the crap out of, but I wont. Like wtf seriously!? Most of the Claudettes are sacrificing themselves just to unhook us and then they heal us, and them they also do as many gens as possible. It's not Claudette neither self-care's fault that something's wrong with the player playing it, they're many other survivors who're amazing but the players playing them are dumbasses. Self-care is still a very powerful perk and I don't care what people say, cause the dBd community has nothing better to do other then talk crap about a survivor having "bad" perk or a "useless" one, cause honestly Nobody has the right to state a survivor "bad" or state their perks as "the worst" cause honestly people are gonna use the perks they're comfortable with and the Claudette that you saw brought self-care with her and you betting that she's gonna be THAT Claudette, then just wait and she'll be the one to save your life when all your teammates are dumbasses.
@@aestheticlife7152 bruh...its not that deep...don't take it personally đ....you can use any perk u likeđ

I always go and do Gens and try to avoid the killer, I had a killer kick a gen when I was beside it and either he didn't see me or he let me finish it because he walked away.... I just hate the matches where I am the only person doing Gens.
Somebody has to do it đ
the one game you donât do gens as much is the game ur teamed up with a bunch of runners đ
@@sleepyqueer for real! XD I hate when that happens! Or when I try doing gens, but every time the killer keeps finding me and I can't do anything!
Definitely a mix of the sneaky squad and a gen jockie đ I sneak around quite a bit and tend to just do the gens and get out as soon as possible, however I do try to grab people off the hook as much as I can :)
The pinging sound you get when you finish a gen just gives such good feels, I surely can't be blamed for wanting to hear it a lot!
had a nancy let me die on hook and when i asked she said "well there's other people who could've saved you"
nothing new just the normal nancy mains
đđđ
I once died on my first hook even when there were two survivors in lockers in the building literally right next to me.
"These guys usually have an engineering degree at college"
..... I feel called out
Lolll
Basically any survivor
Iâm like the jack of all traits, I can keep in a run for a good time when I need to, I always run a save myself and team build, and I do gens when they need to get done.
Same, but i suck at chases most of the time and tend to die quickly (usually teammates bring the killer over for tea)
As a Killer, this helped me alot understanding Survivors priority because I never play Survivor
âThis player usually gets extremely upset when the killer doesnât chase themâ *WE HAVE OUR REASONS JUST LIKE HOW DWIGHTS HAVE THEIR REASON TO JUMP IN A LOCKER*
And yes we do follow the killer around for emotional support.
I'm not a runner, but I did keep following a Michael around once
I was trying to be friendly, and I thought he was too
He tiered up, and I felt betrayed
I need that chase music âđŒđ
I am the runner and I can confirm it is for just hating gens but I will do them

Wait... so you can give the killer support or they you?
Ur a bunny feng, arenât u
Lets dont forget about the ' Trying to be cool at the beggining, but always dies first '-
when i started playing dbd i chose bill just bc i love l4d but the moment i played i ALWAYS went for unhooks. itâs truly something that possesses you
The Bloodpoint hunter. They do generators ,unhooks, totem destroy, heals and everything,to earn more bloodpoints ,do prestiges, and become rank 1 player.
Sometimes they are selfish, cause when the exit is opened, and someone is on the hook, they choose to go out and survive.
But they also act like a hero and sacrifice themself to save someone in the endgame. It usually depends on their mood.

Generator Jockey. I even took Dwight and Meg first. So spot on. I love nothing more than getting a Runner or even a Chad in solo queue because then I know I can pop 3 or more gens without seeing the killer. Man, all of those are so spot on.
3:03 he wasn't bad he was just exhausted on the ground
I'm that gen dude đ when I'm in a long chase nothing pisses me off more than not seeing any gens done though
That moment when you just wanna play Meg, and do gens for bloodpoints because you got a escape cake or something like that, and get called a gen jockey. Iâm not joking, that actually happened to me.
Deserved
That moment when you actually play the game the way it's meant to be played but the community is still toxic because you apparently can't do that anymore either
Imagine people being mad at you for completing the primary objective đ
I am absolutely a sneaky squad player. I've had games where I've never even found out who the killer was.
Though that might be more about killer incompetence than me being a good sneaky boy.
Playing as a meme character, Steve Harrington in his Scoops Ahoy boy outfit, doing gens and trying to help out teammates is my job. Running adrenaline, unbreakable, borrowed time and spine chill.
i've always been both an altruistic player and a runner. the amount of times ive ran across the map in edgame phase with a noed-killer, a person on a hook with an exit gate and got them out while dying myself. its a whole mood.
I'm the Claudette that always gets tunneled, even when all 4 players are together and in sight of the killer, the killer will choose to chase me every damn time.
BRUH SAME I THOUHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE. EVERY SINGLE TIME IM CLAUDETTE THE KILLER ALWAYS GOES FOR ME FIRST AND TUNNELS ME THE ENTIRE GAME
It's even worse in a game where your teammates all hook bomb and dont do gens. You might as well be facing 4 killers at that point. And of course, the killer always farms with them after killing me lol
SAME
I guess you can say every horror movie and game black ppl always die first .
I hate claudettes so much man, they're so annoying
My play style doesn't actually fall in just one category. Im like a mixture of runner, gen jockey, and sneaky. I usually run kindred, iron will, spine chill, and the last always changes up but more times than not it's either, adrenaline, lithe, or dead hard
I'm a mixture of Dwight and the gen rusher. If your in a game with me, your probably never going to see me unhook you. What? Its the survival of the fittest am I right? đ
I HATE those survivors who just run around you and annoy you just to keep you focused on them and not the people who make gens. And they often run around you so stupidly that you can't even hit them
Thatâs your problem
Just ignore them or actually chase them correctly, itâs not like theyâre being useful if you ignore them

Where I must know that the killer is chasing someone or im bolting the moment I hear or see something. I also try not to use too many pallets, I prefer windows. My friend taught me how to be chased better a couple days ago but I haven't tested my new skill yet.

The Runner: "I fear no man! But that THING.... *Huntress with hatchets* ...it scares me"
Despite the toxic, you almost never see a Laurie Strode
Im a Laurie Main and never toxic
You forgot the Totem Toppler. AKA me. I WILL prioritize a Totem over a Gen, whether it's Hexed or not, simply because I don't want to face NO-ED in the endgame. When I enter a new map tile, I search every spot I know a Totem can spawn in first, before doing anything else.
However, I feel like I'm a mix of all of these in general.
I think they're calling me? Oh! Yep that's me! The looper. time to make killers wish they never looked 16 meters into my direction!
As a David, I'm not overconfident, I'm just worried about being yelled at for not going for the unhook... heal... gen... etc etc.
Nailed it! I was laughing so hard about it. It is so true!
I'm a mix of everyone.. For example, I can't play against the Spirit. I don't know why, but in this rounds I am always the sneaky one.
Other matches against the Trapper / Wraith oder Hillbilly I am more the Chad one.
Thank you for this content!
You forgot about the ninth one, the one that either sits on a gen bec their teammates aren't, or the killer is tunneling them for 4 gens, then camps them, then farms with everyone else. They usually play Yui, and I am a part of this group
Iâm such a mix: I sneak mostly, get the gens done, do heal in the corner, but Iâve also run clear across a map from an opened exit just to unhook that guy/gal thatâs dangling and thinks the group has abandoned them. Unless I run Kindred: then they know Iâm coming for them!
The Archeologist: The Archeologist is dedicated to one thing and only one thing. Bones. Small game is a must on this player. They can not stand the idea of NOED and will ignore gens, saves and heals until that little cursed icon disappears. They will either be Mr. Hero by preventing NOED or they'll get their team killed by spending minute after minute finding every totem possible.
I'm pretty much the one that chills, doesn't sweat, and kinda just chills and just plays, I like having fun :)

Wow, did not know I was an altruistic chad, did not expect these to be so accurate
My first time playing nurse I was hot garbage and I went against a swf red rank , after failing for years to land a single hit , they felt bad and allow me to learn how to play the killer and ended up allowing me to hook all of them and get the 4K and afterwards one of them message me saying âI hope you had fun buddy , you did great â honestly the most wholesome thing Iâve seen in my short dvd career
Scariest players to see are gen jockeys that know how to loop. If every player did that in this game Killers would never win.
I'm the guy who if the killer loops me first I usually eventually allow myself to get injured and run away to do a gen WHILSt injured making sure my healing is on 99 cos I run resilience for that 9% boost :D
true.. too bad good runners are the rarest people.. 90% are like claudest and dwights sitting in corners lockers

Either Altruistic, babysitter, gen rusher or I try and do all of those things and also some looping, which hopefully will give others the incentive to fix gens while I distract killer for a bit. O usually play Feng when it comes to looping and gens, because she's an absolute beast! Plus, her cosmetics are really cool. I'm definitely a mix, but I don't ever do the toxic one. I don't like it when people are toxic, so I always do the opposite and play the game in a way that's fun for me, as well as the killer and fellow survivors that aren't toxic. lol Great video.
i'll have you know as a runner we are there for emotional support. we are simply exuding extreme 'you got this' energies
A cheerleader if you will
Fun fact: did you know that Nea is actually the entity, I know itâs crazy
Fun fact: did you know that this joke is super old and overused making it not funny anymore, I know itâs crazy
@@BjornBjergsen Agreed.
I forgot to laugh my bad
Yes so we no need to talk about yui
Iâm a mixture of a jockey , runner, and altruism. I love the feeling of a clutch save or the pop of a gennys cherry while looping the killer at the same time. I live for those moments.
Same
Same but Iâm a toxic runner
Lately, when I run Survivor I'm somewhere between the stealth player and altruist. Sneek between the gens and work on those when I can while staying out of sight... until someone gets hooked. Then I'm usually there pulling the person off the hook and urging them to follow me somewhere out of sight in the hopes the killer doesn't follow so I can heal them before slinking back into the shadows.
Runner feng... sounds about right... even ignoring the gens for the flashlight save
