I was in one of the buildings behind the salesforce tower when they filmed this jump. It was on a saturday around 7am just before the covid shutdown

The critical dialogue in this quote: And the woman (Niobe) with the pills laughed because I (Bugs) was missing the point.
So, just consider my earlier comment as Niobe and your response to that comment as Bugs. Now, Lana Wachowski is conveying to the audience that The Matrix Resurrections is only talking about "The Truth".
What Truth? To resurrect love and action which is often missing in this world through one's own memory. From an esoteric sense, it is the unification of the triune nature of consciousness. Also, it has resemblances in Eastern tradition as well. For example, in Yoga the unification of Bhakti, Jnana, and Karma although they are not mutually exclusive paths to realize The Truth.
So, the truth is true care (Bhakti) precedes right action (Karma) and they are unified by a real understanding or knowledge through memory (Jnana). This depiction was obvious when Trinity (care) flew from the Matrix to IO with Neo (action) when she realizes through her memory (understanding) who she really is and what her life's purpose is.
This is the exact reason the movie portrays mindful action (action with care and understanding).

I think this actually makes sense. The Oracle had always intertwined the fates of Trinity and Neo in order to facilitate the path of the One. It was Trinity's kiss that "resurrected" Neo as the One at the end of the Matrix, it was Trinity who drove Neo to choose to break the cycle of the One at the end of Reloaded, and her death gave Neo the resolve to beat Smith through self-sacrifice at the end of Revolutions.
Even before Resurrections, there were fan theories circulating about how it wasn't the Oracle who chose Neo to be the One, instead the Oracle made it so that the One would be the person Trinity fell in love with. I think given that the Analyst didn't really know exactly what he was doing during the resurrection process and was simply trying to maximize energy output from the Matrix, it makes sense Trinity would also exhibit the same powers as Neo, given how vital she was to Neo having those powers to begin with.

The film is not as bad as it is being scolded. It has disadvantages, but it pulls on 7.3-7.5 points out of 10. But not by 6.
All things That both Neo and Trinity did were accomplished by them together. Alone they would not have done it.
Or maybe that Neo gave his powers to Trinity, or that they're both part of the anomaly. In the same way that Neo imprinted himself on Smith, it stands to reason that he could do the same to Trinity. The reason why the One had to be the man Trin would fall in love with is because The Oracle wanted someone who would love her so much that he would risk all the humanity for her. Only true love can make you take that kind of crazy decision.
The Merovingian said something like "love's code looks like craziness" while looking at Trinity.
You guys are trying too hard to justify what this movie did
I'm so glad that Lana Wachowski is still making the movies she wants to make regardless of how weird people get about them. I seriously don't think she's made a film since the first Matrix that wasn't insanely polarizing to critics and audiences alike. And I love that.

I’m not as much of a fan of this movie as I am the first three, but I love what this scene symbolizes. The Wachowskis lost their parents within days of each other and the decision to resurrect Neo and Trinity was done as a form of coping. So when Neo and Trinity fly up, it’s symbolic of their parents flying out of this world and going into the real world (heaven)
That movie was the most expensive coping.

To me, it is so much about audience identification. Ever since my first viewing in, funny enough a San Francisco rep house of the original MATRIX when it first debuted, I have always clicked with Trinity - what an awesome character for me! My guy is Neo, and I am her. I love this movie because I've flown in dreams my whole life. Whenever I watch this scene, I think of taking the corporal's hand and showing him what I can do...😮
I believe that when Trinity got up and admired that beautiful sunrise, She imagined it was a similiar thing to what Neo saw when they arrived in the Machine City. It was indeed "so beautiful".

That scene was definitely meant to mirror her seeing the sky/sun, (and Neo seeing Gold Code) before crashing in Machine City.
I thought it was her seeing the Matrix in codes just like how Neo did when he finally became "The One"

Trinity says that "her Dream ended here." as a callback to the dream she has talked about somewhere in the original 3 movies.
Neo had the dreams in the original trilogy, as The Oracle called it, The Sight. Trinity was having The Sight in Resurrections, when she told Neo about her dream in the bike garage. It's definitely a huge callback to the dreams in the originals, and their meaning.

It looks like she sees the green code, but it's not in the scene like neo in the first one, but definitely she is surprised because she sees all different and the song confirms that
It implies she no longer sees in binaries. She sees the matrix code, but also the beauty of what the machines created and everyone living in it. It's much more well done than what people give it credit for.
Here eyes show the curiosity I wish they showed the code view like they did for Neo

I think in fact the only character in the Matrix tetralogy to see the glimpse of the real sun is Trinity.
Matrix Resurrection's actually just fine by me. You see the Wachowski actually did the right decision, Keanu became very famous after all those years and pretty sure that if ever someone have in mind to wish for 4th Matrix film, are those kids from early 2000s. And yes w/ or w/out Fishburne and Weaving, it still feels like a dream come true.

It's a shame, cuz I honestly think this is one of my all time favorite movies now, and there's a lot of directions that could be taken in a potential sequel.

Fun fact when you look at the soundtrack liner notes, the two guys that scored Resurrections were the same two guys that did the industrial track, "In My Head," when Morpheus, Trinity and Seraph, are in "Club Hel" in Revolutions/ on the soundtrack. Now that is symmetry!

The movie is great, it is a slap in the face of the predatory greed of big studios to milk a franchise to death. Lana did an amazing job here cause it was like "ok you want a 4th matrix movie? I can make it cool and parody of itself, and give 2 middle fingers to WB and still mock the haters.. all at same time"
The haters didnt realize the 4th movie was 20 years later, on a different world, the actors aged, the matrix influence was finally over (all movies tried to copy the matrix style during late 90s mid 2000s) and this is kinda refreshing... I liked all characters, story, arcs music...
I would rate 1st matrix on top and this on second... reload and revolutions are just ok

The chemistry between Neo And Trin is what half saves this travesty from total doom. Carrie Ann's acting is heartfelt and true and makes the romantic scenes weight out the script mediocrity.

i was expecting this movie to be "meh" based on what people said. but when i watched it, it was very well written and very well done! it was like the same thing that happened, only a different matrix, with different scenarios of them looking from the outside in.

I just finished watching the matrix resurrection…it was interesting…I’m guessing there will be a continuation…? New players, I like the analysis merl vengian I see how the movie updated to current times in society and it said some thought provoking things … what others didn’t like …is their problem,they covered the basis’ to move forward…waiting on the next one …?
This will probably be the last one. Lana Wachowski never intended a sequel and this film bombed hard due to being released not even a week after Spider-Man: No Way Home.
