    If you've seen EH's share price increases recently you'll know this company is going to be the leader (already is)
    There ahead of everyone in this sector just like tesla was in the beginning.

      Nah I’d say that they’re kinda neck and neck with Joby aviation but I love their valuation compared to Joby’s (RTP). Joby’s valuation is already too high compared to Ehang.

    For putting out an industrial object (for example chimney), this approach could work, however fire (and smoke) dynamics in a high rise are complex. The foam (with water) is a better effect because you lower the temperature of smoke (which is your largest fuel source). The powder has only effect is you can direct put it on the fire source (with is not in most cases not direct approachable in most appartments), but even most of the fire effect are driven by the smoke, so by smassing the window you give the fire air. However this being said, this technology gives potential. It could deploy firefighters on the roof (it could help with evacuation), etc. So it is an interesting technology, but is needs tobe further studied and tested

  • @investiereninhongkongaktie1283

    150 liters of water are nothing. A water hose would be better. The water would then be pumped up to the drone. Every big city with high-rise buildings needs 2/3 such fire extinguishing drones, because the high-rise buildings are getting taller and more numerous.

      @jemand8462 Před 4 lety +1

      I agree, a hose would indeed be better. I just wonder if it would become to heavy, imagine 200meters of hose....

      @@jemand8462 There are smaller Fire Fighting Drones with water hose. czcams.com/video/WFqThcMIN7A/video.html
      Just look for "lightweight water hose".

      They will send 20 of these on a fire and get them refilled 1 after the other as they run out of water so the stream never stops

    • @Zen_Power
      @Zen_Power Před 3 lety +1

      Looks too inefficient. Loads are too small and water is very heavy for the volumes you need to extinguish fires. If they used a different type of light weight chemical this could be viable. Definitely good search and rescue applications, parcel delivery and private transport perhaps.

      EHang 216F can carry up to 150 liters of firefighting foams and 6 fire extinguisher bombs in a single trip. Multiple 216Fs can be deployed to rapidly extinguish the fire.

    • @NelsonBrown
      @NelsonBrown Před 4 lety +1

      I'm thinking that in many places in the world, high-rise buildings are required to have sprinkler systems and other fire mitigations more practical than eVTOL. And those building codes are enforced. Therefore, fires of this type are rarely uncontained.

      One of the most famous motivational stories on the entrepreneurial circuit is that of the two salesmen from competing companies who are sent to a foreign country to assess the market for shoes.
      Salesman One scouts around for a few days and then heads for the telegraph office to contact company headquarters. He writes: "Research complete. Unmitigated disaster. Nobody here wears shoes."
      Likewise, Salesman Two does his research and heads for the same telegraph office. Once there, he composes the following: "Research complete. Glorious opportunity! Nobody here wears shoes!"
      The point, of course, is that Salesman Two is the real entrepreneur, the person who sees opportunity where others do not. It's a story designed to motivate us all to find hidden potential, take risks, and turn obstacles into opportunities.

      It has applications, fire management may not be optimal, but search and rescue, high rise rescue, parcel delivery, and private taxi are viable applications. Road infrastructure is congested so the skies are the next medium to utilise.
