Ive seen the squelch knob on ire less reciever. I used to have a shitty RadioShack lapel mic, and it had a recevier with RCA out, and a 1/4 inch out. It also had volume and squelch knobs on the unit itself. I've also seen those squelch knobs on military surplus, definitely do some research.
What do you think of NADY Starpower SP-9? I know they're pretty durable, I've dropped them a fair few times, but I still take otherwise good care of them. I'd love to hear someone else's take on them though :)

Don't know what's up but they aren't made like pro wireless equipment, I had my channel gain and channel level maxed out along with the receiver output but no feedback, plus terrible pickup. Anyway, did their job for a few days then broke, back to the store they went!
