Im in DR 17 Beta Studio and Ive done this to a tee several times and mine wont track at all. I dont give up easy. Your video is slow and right to the point. Thanks.
Danggggg this was very helpful, I dropped a sub. I rlly liked how it was only 12 minutes while other tutorials are 20-30 mins! I will definitely use these tips in my upcoming music vid!
@@samthecameraman9382 Sam, this is what I was able to accomplish after I (repeatedly lol) watched your video - czcams.com/video/6mLtXC6Jjf0/video.html. Seriously, couldn't have done it without your tutorial!
Hi, in actually from Louisville! Amazing to see u use UofL Cardinal Stadium to demo a technique! Amazing technique btw, I'm always looking to do this exact thing and it helped!
I have tried this so many times now step by step copied everything from the video. it keeps saying this: track falled: polgyon must be closed (polygon checked it is closed reverse setting works) to fix this problem. Set PlanarTracker1 operation to 'track'. it is on trackt (I even put it on a different setting and then back on track). and finich the polgyon you where drawning around the region you wisch to track. ? and i can't move the planar transform it copies itself every time i want to move it am I overlooking here? (google trans. I am Dutch).
BreakFixMake heck ya!!!! I will be posting my next one very soon!! Gonna be breaking down every part of DaVinci that I possibly can! Anything specific you wanna see dinner than later?
@@samthecameraman9382 I think you're on the right track. Your tuts are easy to follow and I like the pace and breakdown. No requests yet but I'll drop you a line when I do. Thanks again.
I learned a lot not only about sky replacement but about Fusion overall in your video. REally well done, explicative, complete! I'd like to learn how to get a better blending. Cheers!
Once you close your mask and connect the points it should automatically go back to your selection tool. I will check this out again today and make sure any updates have changed the process
Nice Video, but please explain the reason behind any action you do. It is not helping when you just tell, do this or do that. For example, I do not understand why you used LumaKeyer in the first place. The basic use of that tool need to be explained. Thank you.
This is a super good point boss thank you so much for the feed back. I will do a better job in my future tutorials explain each action! I appreciate you ☺️🙏
@@samthecameraman9382 You are most welcome buddy. I've seen so many other tutorials also where they make the same mistake of telling just step by step procedure. It maybe easy for the teachers but they have to understand that things are new to the people who are learning. Explaining reason behind steps to be taken helps them understand the complete picture and they can use that tool to their own imagination. And I appreciate you took my suggestion seriously. Thank you and wish you all the best. 😊
Absolutely!! You change out anything as long as it is changed out through luminance. Meaning over exposed objects or underexposed objects. Everything else will be done through green screens or rotoscoping
This is brilliant 🤩. Fantastic video !
I am the begginer of Video editing at all, and you are do it in so easy way that i really understand how da vinci is going. Thank you really much!
Thank you dude you helped me so much!

You killed it Rob!! So awesome! Love how real it looks!!!!
So pumped I was able to help
Man! Thank you for watching!
PRO Tip. watch it at 1.5x and it gets kind of bearable to watch. Info is solid and nice, is just soooo slow!!!!
Your probably a pro so of course it would seem slow
For me it is not slow
thanks , understanding explaining style.
Cool. Really make it look simple. Loads of info to take in
Thank you so much!!
@@samthecameraman9382 that's quality content brother
Thank you so much, i've been searching for alternative for after effect cause it won't run on my laptop, and this is just perfect, thank you
Heck ya I’m so pumped this worked for you!!! Hope you can create some cool things with it!
Congratulations!!! excellent tutorial.
Thank you so much
Hi. Is it possible to do the same thing using simple tracker from "color" tab? Can "copy tracking data" and "paste traking data" help with it?
this isn;t working with my image, mainly I'm thinking because the sky is thru the trees, so its making day for night impossible to a beginner like me
It is easier to switch inputs into Merge node by simply right click and select switch inputs.
It seems to me you could just use the polygon tool rather than use the lumakeyer too

I know I am pretty off topic but does anyone know of a good site to stream newly released movies online ?
@Wilder Gibson meh I'd suggest flixportal. you can find it if you google :D -jonas
@Jonas Jeffery thanks, I went there and it seems like a nice service :) I really appreciate it!!
@Wilder Gibson no problem =)

you may want to change the sky just because you fucking want it to
