Many Swathi thirunaal padams bring in Bhakthi through shoka and the composition will traverse from sringara ....love...all that generated by viraha and finally end up in Bhakthi to Padmanabha.. In this video Sooryagayathri blots the subtle bhavas of the malayalam padam through her devine facial and musical expressions with immense skills. I have seen this padam being presented as vocal concert item, classical dance mainly mohiniyattam etc.. Here Sooryagayathri proves that a padam can be, so elegantly picturised without BGM and usual accompaniment also, if rendered properly indulged in the true bhava of the composition. New attire, noval choreography, new theme carved out from an old master piece composed by none other than the Maharaja of music!!!! 👌👌. Thanks Sooryagayathri for this wonderful work; proud of you. First, I listened this Swati Thirunal padam in Malayalam movie Nirmalyam in 1974. It was rendered by Sukumari Narendra Menon and pictuarised in a Mohiniyattam scene. Soorya sung well and reminds me of those times. 🙏
