I just bought a Benjamin Prowler .22 rifle. I'm thrilled with it. I get good groups with the Center Point scope it came with. It has a fair amount of stopping power. But, watching this vid has inspired and convinced me to build my own. There's nothing like creating something and feeling that rush when it comes together. I've been putting off building one for a while now. Not anymore, tho. Thanks for this vid, man. Still catching up.
@@PraetzelProjects *I have searched very far and all the other are either dumb and weak or are made from other existing parts ..so I know what I'm saying*
@@universaljudge3790 he made this with a paintball gun That is preexisting parts Also, I would not scoff at 100fpe which I have seen several examples of. I, from those videos made a gun with 180fpe and have seen others like it.
I have a couple old paintball guns and a couple barrels floating around. hmmmm? Man you got me thinking. Could you please do a shooting vid. Even without a chronograph the old fashioned phone book or, 2x4 power and , page test would be great . Nice video. nice work. Someones already mentioned music. Thanks so much.
a free float bbl. would be mounted too the receiver and touching nothing else from that point (not ideal for that size/length bbl.) But that build is awesome! I'm already searching cl for paintball markers!
Been a subscriber for awhile now. Would still like to see this get fired. Considering a build of my own; in semi automatic, with a 6 or 7 round detachable box magazine, firing 1/4" steel ball bearings, through a smoothbore barrel. If I could hit 700fps I would be ecstatic. Best squirrel gun ever.
hey man! yes I remember when you subed, it was way back before I even had 10k lol. so unfortunately this gun has been dismantled and parts used for other projects. but I might do another build with this concept sometime again. so a few ?. why would you want it smooth bore shooting ball ammo? wouldn't that make it less accurate? just curious.
Very nice work, AK. Just to be sure it looks like you modified an off the shelf, no frills, paintball marker to shoot .22 cal pellets by inserting a .22 cal barrel into the stock paintball barrel. I mean sure you did some very cool cosmetics and a breech-otomy, but you did not do anything to the gas supply, right? It almost looks like the Raptor was designed to be modified. The Raptor comes with a rail of sorts that seems to take a Picatinny rail, the barrel seems to slip right in and looks like it could take a larger, .25 cal size. I assume you shoot CO2. I'm kind of new to this. Is there any reason not to charge it with air?
thanks, yes, most of the work was in the stock which is just for looks. only mods to the marker were some drilling on the bolt to mate the receiver, there was no rail on the gun so I drilled and taped holes to mount weaver rail, a little work was done to the barrel to mount the smaller barrel, I do use c02 but I don't see why air would not work, hope that helps.
what kind of power are u getting ?? I have seen some paint ball guns converted to .177 .22 but they seemed to lack power your conversion is one of the best of seen so far
I have not yet put a chrony on it, but I have shot many bb/pellet guns and my guess is around 800 fps +- with 14.6 gr pellet. the fps is also adjustable using the original velocity set screw, which is cool. thanks for your comment!
darrin goodbrand hey u GT any vids of ur paintball gun to air rifle mods, then we can assess n help u with how to get more power out of it. I've used similar paintball gun n made one to shoot .22lr, one to shoot 9mm blank charge to power 8mm projectiles and one that shoots broadhead blowdarts.
AK Custom cheers dude. Ingenious yet simple concept which I'm going to try. I'll keep you updated buy would love to see some shooting and chrono :) keep up the builds.
Bro I’m super impressed with your work. Very creative. America at its finest 👍

Can you convert a paintball gun to fire live rounds the calibre doesn't matter
Any suggestions on making a magazine for semi auto
Could get a pellet pistol.22 mag and built in from the inside or out
You should remove the background music it's pretty loud
