This artist's paintings sell for just NT$150 (C$5.50/US$5.00) apiece. We gave him NT$200 for the painting which will now adorn our home in Vancouver, Canada.
Ximending is Taiwan's first and largest pedestrian zone and is called the "Harajuku (原宿) of Taipei" and "Shibuya (渋谷区) of Taipei". Ximending is the source of Taiwan's fashion, subculture and Japanese culture. Ximending is also the main LGBT district of Taiwan, with a host of clubs and pubs located in the area. Ximending attracts an average of over 3 million shoppers per month.
If you go: Ximending is accessible via exit 6 of the Taipei Metro Ximen Station (Banqiao Line and Xiaonanmen Line). Many buses ply to Ximending
