Video 5. Yamaha FS1EDX. Bought myself a Kenny Roberts Fizzy !

This is my first run on the little Fizzy since I got it home. Still lots to do but I wanted to see how she went after checking the carb. The air screw was wound out quite a bit and I think that was why it was bogging down on high revs. Definitely runs better now :-)
The clutch felt like it maybe slipping a bit??? I have since drained the gearbox oil and refilled with SAE30. If its still feels like its slipping on next run I will have to change the clutch. All good fun!

Sold my 1975 Popsicle Purple fizzy in 1980 and rediscovered it just 45 miles down the road from me a couple of years ago. Now rebuilt it and living the dream again! Woohoo!

They`ve not all shot up in price.The really well done up ones,genuine with the mid to early 70s reg plates and in the favourite colours cost a bomb 10 grand plus. But i`ve seen a very good 1976 model, a shiny example in yellow in very good condition for only £4200.It probably isnt as authentic for its time but has a chrome bar attachment behind the seat and chrome crash bars and still a 70s fizzy.Very tempting at a bit over 4k

My brother bought a 1965 Yamaha 55cc motorcycle brand new. It was all black, it had plastic fenders. Great little cycle. It was cold blooded and smoked like crazy. That was before they came with oil injection, you had to mix the gas and oil.

Ive not heard of a 55cc one, I will have to look it up on google . I have to mix the 2 stoke fuel up for this bike as well.

Yep Yamaha made it like the race bikes as I recal 1 up and rest down?

No, the FIzzy is 4 down mate. The Honda SS50 is 1 down and the rest up! No wonder Mickey one cell is having problems 😂😂😂

Yes, I did. Fitted a new flasher unit and they work lovely 😊
