Which is you knowing something others don't, and others knowing something you don't. Development of a theory of mind typically occurs in the ages of 4-5. I just feel like explaining the first fact:
Talking to yourself can help your brain work more efficiently because the more you talk to yourself, the more you can direct your thoughts. It can also help you work things out instead of accidentally echoing your thoughts, and you can remember what you thought and spoke out; it's like when you repeat what someone told you.
as an adhd person, i use this a fair bit, and it works most of the time

@@Wally_Darling1960 for me I used jump and run while thinking all the time and unable to focus even when I try my best and their a lot of other symptoms that I didn't know that was related to it like when I try to so a simple task it takes my hours to do and I start shifting from one task to another without finishing any. Bad time management, RSD, mood swings, anxiety, there is a lot of symptoms but it's different from someone to another.

Something I’ve heard a lot is that talking to yourself (in your head) while in a coma can actually stimulate dormant parts of your nervous system and increase your chances of being able to move again
The strict parents one makes sense since with strict parents you'd have to think about alot of things just so your parents wont get mad and then you would have to start thinking about simple tasks even deeper just to be safe of no mistakes. And if you're parents have their own ways of doing tasks then that just gives you even more to think about
