Looks like her dress costume/attire owned her. She had to pick a wedge in the middle of her routine. I think she’s a fine dancer but I’m not a fan of her costumes.

Their prospects excite me and they continue to improve and grow in confidence. They have the near perfect combination and balance of both the physical/athletic and artistic attributes and a beautiful Man woman energy and wicked chemistry.which for me makes them the perfect dancesport partnership.
I have always said that they are the perfect partnership.
If I had written (as YOU DO) that Salvo and Victoria has (I quote) "wicked chemistry", you Joe Testa would probably have screamed to the world.
You are not the best writer. I all the time try to overlook your not very diplomatic words and your misspelling of names (you have several times written "Donny Burns" instead of Donnie Burns, and you have repeatedly called Ina (dancing with Troels) "Polina" (who is dancing with Kirill). Your campaign against the Russian couple didn't prevent Donnie Burns as judge to put Kirill and Polina FIRST in his marks in a very major competition, and now just minutes ago in the UK the judges GAVE KIRILL AND POLINA GREAT SUCCESS IN THE FINAL, even much better than last year. You Joe Testa have constantly pronounced the CERTAINTY of doomsday for Kirill and Polina. And now you call MY FAVOURITE COUPLE Salvo and Victoria "wicked chemistry". That is not nice, not even precise. And you should for the first time in your life be ashamed of yourself.
H.C. How funny you are but not in a funny way. Do you even understand what the term wicked chemistry even means? I suspect not. Its not what you think and it shows how lacking you are in understanding of English. I live and come from a n English speaking nation dude. It is my first language, not second or third. I do find myself wondering why I don't take the advise so many have given me on you tube and just ignore you. Misspelling is one thing, writing complete dribble is something else entirely. Do keep that in mind.
Helge Christophersen . Kirill and Polina only moved up one place in the UK. The marks also suggest they werent even close . 4th place in every dance . So much for being 2020 World champions as you predict, although I like them very much, but not more than the three couples ahead of them
Also note that a couple you tend to attack, Daskalov and James were second. Must be that exquisite syncopate timing!! 2nd in every dance. The heir apparent champions .
Brad Cherrie. Precisely and just to add. This 4th place was in the absence of R&Y, so infact I think they regressed from last year. They certainly didn't move forward did they and were infact beaten by D&M which given the improvement in their dancing isn't surprising. What is also interesting is that as well as Peter and Zia, the top 3 pro couples ahead of K&P Helge has repeatedly attacked and harshly criticised on many videos without reason or explanation for his negativity. Following this prestigious event I think its now clear and safe to say that Helge isn't on the same page as most people including these world esteemed and qualified adjudicators because he seems to know better than everyone but almost never gets it right and his comment just swim in a sea of bias if not dance ignorance. Yes Helge this is for you. Its time to put a sock in it.

Music is rushy and not the best, but THIS couple always performs almost brilliantly
in spite of the music. There has never been a more evident winner of the coming Amateur World Championship 2020.
H.C I'm sure nearly all dancers would poke out an eye to dance this "ALMOST" brilliantly. Seriously what does almost brilliantly even mean? Have you taken any notice of Klemen and Alexandra who won this event. If you had you wouldn't have made that last comment. You do make some half baked statements.
DMoney. YES and he knows that I and many others know that, but that doesn't stop him littering you tube with these mindless ill informed comments. He obviously has no sense of shame or embarrassment and a very distorted sense of what good dancing is or he would stop. But he doesn't. I just think he gets off on being publicly humiliated.

Even when music is not easy to dance to, they still manage it almost as brilliant as when the music is excellent.
That is not an unusual way of commenting in arts and sports. It is precise.
I think Klemen and Alexandra danced a top lovely honour dance in the UK minutes ago on Jan. 23. I feel Salvo shouldn't have had that surprising gym suit in the final, and I feel this may have disturbed them and the judges from getting 2nd or 1st place.

Well, the judges have decided and certainly agreed with you didn't they? I would have loved to see salvo and Viktoria win this title, but Unlike you I have a rather less biased and more objective view of all these great couples.and have enormous respect and admiration for the talents of the couples that beat them. Thy are both outstanding . Having said that S&V's time will come I'm sure. Smart knowledgeable people know it is unwise to make outlandish remarks such as those you make constantly because it shows bias and can leave one with egg on their face. But that doesn't seem to affect you. You just continue leading with your chin.

I have a LIFETIME of experience in ballroom and latin dancing, first as competitor, then as professional after passing dance teacher examinations in both ballroom and latin and dance school owner. I am long past retirement age, that's why I am commenting, since I have no bonds to any couple.

Bother with her dress, I have noticed that happens a lot, why don't they try it out before hand to see how much twisting it can stand. I certainly would.
kpzcbttp It depends on who sponsors them. Some costume makers who sponsor couples that are on their way up the ranks give them their costumes only a few hours before their heat. They’re not made specifically for them, but rather new designs from the rack. The dancers don’t get to take them home or to their studios to rehearse in...they go to the designer’s booth, are given their dress, compete in it, then have to give it right back to the designer after they’re done. I don’t know if this is their particular situation because I don’t know them, or who designs for them.... but it is a somewhat common practice in the sponsorship arrangement between dancer and designer. The dancer wants to look good, and the designer wants their dresses to be noticed by choosing to sponsor dancers they’re confident will make it nearest the top, or dancers who have such a dedicated fan base that they’re dress is guaranteed that exposure, and ultimately sold. When they consistently get to the top, that’s when they usually get dresses designed specifically for them, which you will see them wear versions of throughout an entire competitive season (like Yulia/Polina/Marina, etc).

Although the dancers are great, I just love looking at their dresses. I would really like to try one on and give a little twirl.

You can get that she has a dressmaker who does her dresses custom. She may or may not be sponsored by that dress maker, but it would be very unusual for a Top 6 couple to compete in off the rack costumes.

They do bump into each other sometimes but I think they're also being taught how to read the dance floor.
It's called floor crafting. It takes experience to master it (Riccardo and Yulia). It's also the man's job to direct and lead the lady into safety. :) :)
