And you're spot on! I wanted to create a bit more of a melancholic remix that floats about just like within vivid imagery of dreams.
I let myself fall into my own intuition and relied less on my logical side, and more on the imaginative and sporadic part of my brain for this remix.
Ultimately, I'm super happy with how it came about, It's one of those remixes for me where I had to shut off my connection to the internet for a solid month and just purely write and see what comes up haha

The Simulation VIP and We’re Not Alone 2023/2024 VIP came out around the same time last year. But both versions here do seem to be a tiny bit updated from those but that could also be hearing them through Spotify for the first time idk
There’s also the old We’re Not Alone VIP that came out with the remix package for that song not long after the original EP came out. So there’s the Original, the first VIP and the 2023/4 VIP plus the other official remixes from back then.
The new vip one is much better compare to what i remember
You have the Au5 remix from the original EP, and then both the High Maintenance and PhaseOne remixes from the remix EP

Pretty mixed feelings on this one. There are some really sick remixes here and also some that feel a bit last minute. The lack of any REDLINE remix is somewhat disappointing too. But there's loads of creativity and every remix has some moments I enjoyed. My favs were Simulation VIP, Exhile - The Forgotten Remix, Back In Time - Dani Demand Remix and Fork Funeral - Mr. Bill remix
Weird too cause Eliminate did a remix of Redline, surprised it didn't appear on here
Eliminate'a remix was mainly a goof joke but i loved it so much, wasnt expecting it going to be in the dlc but it would be funny and cool if it did
Also expected a remix of Rewrite, my favorite song from the album

Compilation was mad, sad I couldn’t join the stream tho. Favourite remix was franky nuts and oliverse, favourite VIP was neon angel

“We’re Not Alone” is one of the best chunes from Virtual Riot, and from modern dubstep in general. It was released in 2014 as a part of an EP under the same name.
With that said, I wasn’t feeling this VIP, and I wish that he tried something more creative and inventive with this VIP, especially being a VIP of We’re Not Alone.
Mannn I have to agree. This VIP had so much more potential given the original, but yeah. A little bummed
If anything the SeamlessR remix of it was probably the best one I've heard so far, but the original is still by far the best.

this album was pretty good to listen to overall imo, not a huge fan of it all at times but it was a fun journey!
I liked the remixes for the most part although I would say that they were kinda lacking in some aspects, almost empty in some cases despite being so full in sounds and quality. That said, I would still say it’s solid but just something I would pick about considering this is a beloved album of 2021.
I actually really liked that Forgotten Remix, just amps up the midtempo from the original and delivers in a more cinematic style, kinda puts you into a game feel
