Snakethug: Make sure Charlie has all four Gadgets left. Charlie: Uses Gadget in the beginning of the round.
Actually, at least with mico, if you get your mico death timing right, you can only use one gadget to survive until mico respawns right before the fourth tick of poison damage is when you gadget. I assume it works for Janet as well.

Hey Snake i was wondering since u also play PC if u used ld multiplayer. recently since the update it would keep me in a black screen and eventually say that the game is not responding. Have you experienced this before? or anyone that's willing to help me. thanks.

I have the same issue and you can't do anything.
You just have to wait for ldplayer or any emulator to fix the problem so pay attention for a new version or something .
