Cutting GearTrack & VersaTrack

  • I've seen a fair number of searches for people looking for guidance when cutting trackwall systems like Gladiator GearTrack and Craftsman VersaTrack. So I'd thought I'd show the results from cutting the trackwall a few different ways to help people decide the best options for cutting their GearTrack or VersaTrack when installing their trackwall systems. I also have seen worries about melting the GearTrack online, so I wanted to see if that was actually possible and an actual concern or more of an Internet myth.

    Definitely agree that a 16" section works fine between studs. The mfg recommendation is a bit ridiculous and wasteful.
