When someone dodges an attack simply by walking - knowing the spacing so well that they can confidently stay out of range without rolling - that's a pretty good sign that they've mastered the fight!

I had to use a summon to beat the last few bosses on my first play through. On my second I’m gonna suffer as long as it takes to beat all the bosses solo.

I remember someone who was inspired by Let Me Solo Her and had the username 'Might solo her' and was basically SOMETIMES able to actually solo her. He sometimes struggled because of how huge her HP was in multiplayer and thus couldn't nail all those frame perfect dodges or take every chance to swing at her, or when the lag and stuff kicks in, but my God when he was feeling good he could really do it. It's great to see.
Lmao, it took me around 2 hours to study her entire moveset and put her down almost flawlessly. Moreover I must say Malenia is not the hardest boss by any means. Any skillful person can perform equally good against Malenia without any cheesy strats

I just watched the whole video and I'm inspired. I've been trying to defeat Soul of Cinder in Dark Souls 3 and this has given me the push I needed to keep trying until I see that boss kneel before me, thank you.
Actually if he just knows the right moment to dodge every attack and how to counter he can kill her with whatever weapon he wants,it will just take longer

It has been a year since the game launched, but I was only able to start playing Elden Ring a few weeks ago. I had been guarding myself against spoilers all year long. However, I always heard about a legend known as ''Letmesoloher'', though I couldn't witness his feats. Today I beat Malenia and decided to watch him in action at long last, and oh boy, man is truly insane.
It's amazing to see the community come out and try to be you, I've been helping with Malenia the past 3 days, saw quite a few people trying to be you or some iteration of you. You're an inspiration for the people in the community, GG! ps. I even changed my name to "Can I Solo Her?" briefly, I'm good at this boss but not THIS good lol
Man he figured out a return on the spinning kick she does. I never would have considered rolling into it and countering. Hats off to the master. That's amazing!
@@KingBarney her kicks are usually followed up by an attack. But when I made this comment what I didn't know is she does 2 types of kicks. A running kick that's always followed up by an attack, and a stationary counter kick that only happens in phase 2. I didn't realize that's what he's countering because her counter kick always ends with her just staring at you for a second.
@@leveluppupgaming7207 if you’re good enough, you can counter her follow up on the “approaching you kick” if you hit her fast enough. Just like Isshin, Malenia activates hyper armor for her moves after she reaches a certain point in her animation. For example, you can simply swing and interrupt her running into you with sparks into 3 slashes instead of rolling to her sides. But LMSH can do that cause dual Katanas barely stun Malenia outside the rolling attack and jump attack.
This really is a fascinating watch. In particular, the strategy for scoring clean hits by baiting out certain attacks made me think of something. A while ago, I did a consumables-only run on a whim, and ultimately hit on this same sort of bait-and-respond style to fight her. The main difference of course being that I was throwing lightning pots during those windows, and that I was nowhere near as good at dodging absolutely everything. Still, it’s very neat to see how the same strategy can apply to the fight in various ways.

I died probably 25 times and decided, “I’m just going to punch a hole through his chest.” Almost got him that try, beat him on the next. It was lost on me that “hesitation is defeat” was literally the answer to beating him. Lol

Unfortunately this boss depends a lot on luck: sometimes Malenia doesn't do that deadly attack and sometimes she does it very often, sometimes she dodges your attacks and sometimes you hit her. Sometimes she kills the summon immediately and sometimes you defeat her first phase quickly. I will upload the video of my victory with my stats, weapons, talismans, etc. The truth is that it took me two days to defeat it, I didn't want to give up.

he is pretty much invincible against Malenia, but I wonder if he would be able to beat some of the other bosses hitless like he does Malenia, since her attacks are pretty fast and have very defined hitboxes and what he does is amazing, being able to pull so many hitless runs of the boss very consistently, I wonder if he would be able to pull the same thing off with bosses with bigger hitboxes and slower attacks.

There’s two things I have learned from this video: Malenia is definitely the Blade of Miquella and he definitely wants you to let him solo her

@@stormyblackheart7286 That's honestly the best way to approach it. I tried to do all sorts of cheese to beat him. You just have to fight him, don't even worry about prosthetic tools or anything.
@@stormyblackheart7286 if I could offer advice on ishiin. Throw caution to the wind, and be aggressive as you possibly can. I died probably 25 times and decided, “I’m just going to punch a hole through his chest.” Almost got him that try, beat him on the next. It was lost on me that “hesitation is defeat” was literally the answer to beating him. Lol

I really want to defeat her by myself, but the second phase is so difficult! You're not only a legend but a credit to the community not only of Elden Ring, but of videogames in general for helping others.

I don’t even know how they do the 2nd phase so easily they somehow make her look less aggressive Lol. I beat her once before but I’m having a harder time on ng+ even a summon barely does anything
Unfortunately this boss depends a lot on luck: sometimes Malenia doesn't do that deadly attack and sometimes she does it very often, sometimes she dodges your attacks and sometimes you hit her. Sometimes she kills the summon immediately and sometimes you defeat her first phase quickly.
I will upload the video of my victory with my stats, weapons, talismans, etc. The truth is that it took me two days to defeat it, I didn't want to give up.
If you’ve managed to get by the first phase then you’ll manage the 2nd phase. Trust in yourself and in the process!

he is pretty much invincible against Malenia, but I wonder if he would be able to beat some of the other bosses hitless like he does Malenia, since her attacks are pretty fast and have very defined hitboxes and what he does is amazing, being able to pull so many hitless runs of the boss very consistently, I wonder if he would be able to pull the same thing off with bosses with bigger hitboxes and slower attacks.
