I swear I saw you a few days ago while we were at Disney after our cruise but it was from a distance so I couldn't catch up to say hi. Shortly after I saw the baby girl instagram post and realized it was you!! You and Riley will be wonderful parents to that sweet girl and it's such an incredibly exciting adventure!!! Prayers for those naseous symptoms to go away and a happy healthy pregnancy and baby girl! 💕

Blair, I recently discovered your channel and have enjoyed watching your videos so much. You seem very genuine and sweet. These pregnancy updates have been especially exciting to watch. Pregnancy is such a wonderful and amazing thing! My daughter is almost 10 months old and while I love having her on the outside world, there was just something so special about carrying her inside me. Cherish this time because it goes by quickly! Enjoy all those little kicks and soak in the preciousness of a tiny baby a being knit together inside of you. Much love, Kayla

I am a 66 year old grandmother and i want you to know that there is something "magical" about you, your thoughts, voice and love for your unborn child. Some of the things you talk about are very close to my heart......memories of my feelings when I was pregnant with my only son that I was not able to portray during the 70's. I have been helping my son, raise his son without his mother.....she wasn't able to be in his life when he was a baby. Thankfully she has turned her life around and is now a part of my grandson's life...he is now 7 years old. I am so blessed to have been a nurturing part of his darling life the past 6 years and wouldn't trade it for anything, even tho being in my 60's has been sometimes overwhelming..........keep talking....keep up the wonderful life that is about to begin for you..........and know that many people are benefiting from your vlogs......take care, Blair.

With my 3rd baby, I had not ounce of nausea until I was 10 weeks. In fact, I didn't even know I was pregnant (I was on the pill) until that 10th week. It was the week of Thanksgiving and we were supposed to go to NE to visit my in laws. We canceled our trip because we thought I had a terrible stomach bug and didn't want to get my husbands elderly grandparents sick.
    WRONG!

I am currently pregnant with my first and the energy zapped feeling is very real to me right now. I totally get where you are coming from and as a "to-do list" and "get er done" personality, this has been such a humbling experience. It has made me slow down. Now I am just waiting for that second trimester energy burst everyone keeps talking about!

Loving these pregnancy updates, Blair! So excited for you and Riley and it’s so much fun to listen to you share y’all’s journey. By the way- the one thing that has really helped my hormonal acne is the SK-II essence. (Random, I know...) It took me a good two years to finally decide to try it because it’s so pricey, but it’s one of the few things that has actually worked. You have to use it everyday for a about two months for it to start working but once it does, it’s great. Hope you have a relaxing Memorial Day weekend!

Hi Blair! Currently 18 weeks pregnant with our baby girl, I notice we have very similar symptoms. Especially the nausea! Without fail I am nauseas every day at around 7-8:00 like so bad that I’m on the verge of throwing up. It’s not fun at all. I also felt my baby girl right around 17 weeks exactly and it’s amazing. My mom had lots of nausea when she was pregnant with me (enough she had to visit the hospital for dehydration). But I never actually puked when I was pregnant. Instead I spent the first 20 weeks with a very small appetite and some dizziness until I finally figured out taking my prenatals at night made a huge difference. I'm hopeful for you that the next few weeks will give you some relief as well. Those very first baby flutters are so fun! Thanks so much for sharing your exciting developments!

I just caught up on your pregnancy posting.. I also suffered with crazy intense nausea with my first pregnancy (I am talking sick from conception until and including delivery). While Popsicles were my saving grace, there was another strange trick that worked for me. The juice from canned peaches. Not the one in syrup, too sweet, the natural juice works great. Try a teaspoon here and there, just enough to settle your stomach on days you can't keep much down. Saved me...

  • @laurensawyer330
    @laurensawyer330 Před 5 lety

Sorry to hear you've been feeling nauseous, but at least it seems to be more intermittent now. I had nausea for the first 4 mths with my daughter, but for the whole 9 mths with my son. It wasn't extremely bad, where it kept me from doing things, it was just kind of underlying. And the weirdest part was that I was able to eat more (including veggies), where I had much more aversions during my 1st pregnancy. Couldn't even look at a leaf of lettuce LOL! Your dream was hilarious! :-)

First of all, 🤞🏻🤞🏻 you start feeling even better soon. I have been beyond blessed with no morning sickness. I am with you though on headaches. They have been subsiding though, which is good. I’m currently 21 weeks, 5 days pregnant. I just felt our little guy for the first time a week ago. It is so weird and so amazing! I’m thoroughly enjoying keeping up with your journey, right alongside me. Can’t wait to find out what you’re having. For some reason I feel that you and Jenn are both expecting boys. Although, I’m thinking it may just be related to the fact that I’m having a boy and looking for more boy babies!!!!! Blessings...

I don't remember having crazy pregnancy dreams, but I did dream about having a girl before we knew the gender, and I did indeed have a baby girl! Hormones can play a part in the strange dreams and also in feeling irritable. I was very emotional during my third trimester and I'm not the type to cry a lot. For the headaches, I'm pretty sure you can take Tylenol. And for the nausea, I was on Diclegis, which is B6 and unison together. I would take half a dose in the late morning and my full dose at night to help with the nausea. Maybe this is something you can ask your doctor about. Keeping you and baby in my prayers! 💖💖💖

I had crazy dreams. Sometimes violent and terrifying, but the one I remember that was funny was that I gave birth to a cabbage, and a nurse walked me down to the nursery in a hospital, and all of the babies were in the plastic hospital beds swaddled up in pink and blue blankets, and there was my "baby"--a cabbage, sitting in a plasic bed that had been tricked out with a bunch of dirt and other vegetables!! I just started crying and saying that I know I'm supposed to love my baby, but I didn't want it to be a cabbage!! Oh lord, it was weird, and I felt so relieved to wake up and know it wasn't real!!! Your piglet dream is hysterical!! OMG! listening to all of your stories is really taking me back to those crazy pregnant days!! I was super sick, but a fizzy McDonald's Coke always tasted good to me.

Funny story about hard boiled eggs: when I was pregnant with Zoey, I craved them ONCE so I sat and ate 6 of them and got SO SICK. I couldn't eat them again for over a year, HA! I'm so sorry you are having such a hard time with being nauseous. Hang in there! Just rest when you have to and yes, the moods can happen out of nowhere. I think I slept through my entire first trimester LOL. I wish I could sleep like that now. HA! Your dreams are hysterical, 6 piglets! I had strange dreams too. At one point, I had a dream that I couldn't carry both boys in my stomach anymore, so my husband volunteered to carry one. That was a sight! The best part of pregnancy for me was once the boys started kicking and very active. Especially as I knew where each one was from my ultrasounds. I would tell everyone, Alex is on the top floor and Michael is on the bottom. LOL Enjoy this time Blair, really even with all the adjustments, it's such a great time to just take it all in. I know you are a writer, so keep a journal if you haven't already. You look good! Cute bump!

Speaking of dreams, does that bring me back! ( My 'baby' is now 16 - what?!? - but from my perspective, he was born '10 minutes ago'! Lol! ) Most mornings while expecting, I usually woke up thinking, what on earth was THAT all about??!! Many dreams had me flying around the room and it seemed SOOOOO real! AND fun! So I was slightly disappointed when I woke up to learn I really couldn't do that. ;-) I do recall having nightmares but thankfully the details didn't stay with me. But, I definitely experienced vivid, detailed dreams with an assorted cast of characters - sometimes featuring me possessing superpowers, like flying! ;-) Savor every moment of the journey - even the strange and uncomfortable bits - because it is so worth it when that precious little one is placed in your arms. Nothing like it in the world! God bless.

When I was pregnant, I didn't had much of an appetite either the first trimester. I really had to force myself to eat something! I even lost 5 kilo's during the first trimester. I gained that weight again during the following trimester because my nausea disappeared and my appetite came back. I wasn't craving crazy things or wanted to eat all the time. I did had this weird thing about bread, I couldn't stand the smell, the sight or the thought of bread.
It is so weird when you think about it, isn't it? When you start feeling the baby and you're like: wow....there is actually a little human being growing inside of my belly. :p Oh the ribcage pains.... not missing those! My daughter loved sticking her feet of hands between my ribs haha :p Oh there was a time where she had turned around, I think I was in my 7th month. So her head was like right up against my ribs on the left side... my gosh, it was so uncomfortable. I couldn't sit down, I had to walk or immediately lay down. It was so weird. I tried everything to try to have her turn around again or at least move out of my ribs haha :p She was so stubborn, even in my belly.... like...a few days before my due date, I went to the gyneacologist and she said everything was ok and the baby was in a perfect position to be born.... on the due date if I hadn't given birth yet, I had to go back to see her...and ofcourse, little miss stubborn had turned around again and was with her feet down. So I almost started to freak out because you don't want that....but my doctor was like, you'll be fine, she's a tiny but strong girl, she will turn around again when she is ready to be born and 2 days later she did turn around and that's when the long labour started. She was born 3 days after my due date, all healthy and perfect :)
(I'm sorry I'm talking so much about my own pregnancy... you must think I'm a selfish fool...I'm sorry. I'm just loving your videos and updates on the pregnancy and reliving my own so much through yours...and I love it! So thank you so so so much for sharing it all, Blair. ) Sending you lots of love and a little tap on the belly for 'bumpy' ;-) Maybe he/she kicks back ;-)

I never had nightmares however, I did have a funny/weird reoccurring dream when I was pregnant with my second child. Perhaps because, I didn't want to find out the gender of our baby. I dreamed that a stork delivered a Polaroid picture, I would need to set it in the sun to develop in order to see the gender of my baby. In every dream, the Polaroid would burn and I would scrap the burn parts off and I could always see blue socks on the babies feet. I had a son, who is now 12 years old. I loved being pregnant, I would read, sing and talk to my kids while I was pregnant with them!
