A wonderful video, Blair ♥️ I relate to you so much about medication. I have struggled with severe anxiety since I was 16 years old. I didn't start on medication until my early 30's. I too look back and feel sorry for my old self. I like to think the hardship taught me compassion in a way I would not have learnt otherwise. Thank you for your wisdom and vulnerability ♥️
Definitely do the small scale reno instead of the huge one.. you will thank yourselves! We’ve done a big kitchen remodel.. never again. lol. The truth is when you spend a lot on a kitchen, you are always a little too worried about it staying perfect, if that makes sense. I love your perspective that “it’s just a kitchen”.. yes!

I HIGHLY recommend doing the cheaper kitchen Reno because it makes a HUGE difference. I just repainted my kitchen cabinets and redid the floor and changed out the hardware and it looks like a whole new house and I LOVE my kitchen now! I did it to sell unfortunately because my husband is military and we’re going to a new base but I am soaking up all the beautiful new updates in my house while I can 😂😂
Having a wall between kitchen and living room is actually sort of nice to hide the mess! I would do the small facelift too instead of a big remodel when you're ready!

I so appreciate the openness and being so candid about your marriage. The period of time when you are new parents is such a huge adjustment. I am proud of you guys for going to counseling and working through this. Having lived this out to a very different outcome I know when you don't prioritize getting past this stage, and it goes unaddressed, it eventually can get to a point where it can no longer be turned around. You guys truly prioritize your relationship and I love the honesty how everyone has their moments that are not so great. ❤

We do share our locations with each other and use find my iPhone ! My phone was on the side of a country road with no service so worst case scenario 🫠 I totally agree it’s so important to share location for so many reasons!
Thank you for your honesty regarding taking medication for your anxiety. I have been holding off on stating medicine for over a year now since I had my first anxiety attack in my life. I guess I’m just scared that it might not work for me or might affect me negatively. Lately I’ve been curious though if it could help me in a positive way.

I am 100% with you on the dream car. My dream car right now is a blood red Tahoe. But it is most certainly not in the budget. And by the time it will be in the budget (in 2 years will be sending my oldest off to college and then 2 more off to college after him) I won't need a big SUV like that anymore. So maybe I'll save it for when the grandkids come along. 😉 For now, my Honda van will have to do - which I 100% am in love with my van.

Question: How can I make vacation/ quality time with husband a priority?… Currently, we don’t have children and work in the education field, but it seems like we get stuck into routine and I’m the only one trying to change things up. We’re happily married, of course, it’s just my husband is very content and look at our conversations on the front porch, for example, as special moments 😂… Hope my question makes sense! 🙂🌻♥️🙏🏽
Could you start with day trips and then do overnight trips and work your way up to longer travel adventures? That would be a good build up if your hubby isn’t 100% into big trips right away!
