    RULES:
The object of the game is to have the fewest points and the object of each round is to be the first player to get rid of all the cards in your hand. Be aware that there are many variations and house rules to this game, so you should agree on them before starting.
Shuffle a standard 52 card deck of playing cards and each player picks one card. The player with the lowest card becomes the dealer. King is high and ace is low. The dealer shuffles the deck and deals 5 cards 1 at a time to each player. Players look at their own cards but keep them hidden from their opponents. The dealer places the deck facedown to form a draw deck and discards the top card to start the discard pile. If the flipped card is an 8, the 8 is to the deck and a new card is flipped.
The player to the left of the dealer goes first, then play proceeds clockwise. On your turn you must play a single card onto the discard pile that matches either the rank or suit of the top card. The only exception to this is an 8. 8’s are wild and can be played on anything. When you play an eight, pick a suit. The next card played must either match the picked suit or be another 8.
If you are unable to play, then you must draw cards from the draw deck until you can play or once you have drawn 5 cards, whichever comes. Once a player gets rid of all of their cards, the round is over and points are tallied. Player’s receive points based on the cards remaining in their hand. 8s are worth 50 points. Face cards are worth 10 points. Numbered cards are worth their face value, and aces are worth 1.
Gather up all the cards and the role of dealer rotates clockwise by one. Once 1 player has 100 points or more, the game ends and the player with the fewest points wins.

I play the game like this:
When you play an eight, you can choose the suit to whatever you want. And you can play it WHENEVER you want!
When you play a queen of spades, the other person has to pick up 5 cards.
    You can do pairings!
The jack is a “miss a turn” card
And ace is called an “Ace’s unload”, where say if you played the ace of hearts, you can play every heart you have on top of that. It goes for any suit though
Whoever gets rid of their cards first wins, of course!

    2 - next player picks 2 cards
Joker - next player picked 5
    A - blocks 2 and Joker
    Jack - reverses play
    King - play again
    7 - next player misses a turn .

Yeah, I like to add additional rules as well to some of the values. The ones we play are:
Aces- You and next player in sequence trade one card.
Twos- Force Next player to draw 2 cards
Threes- Everyone in game passes three cards to next player in sequence. (Better for larger groups and can result in players going backwards)
Fours- Tuck a card underneath as you play this card (it can be offsuit to the four being played)
Jacks- Skip next player in order
Queens- Dump as many of matching suit as you wish underneath the queen
      King- Reverse
What house rules do you have?

She has a round where she plays a jack with a 10 as her last cards. She played them together, but they were two different cards. the way we play is you can put down both 8s in one move, not separately and the other players cannot fault you for not doing it separately nor saying last card. you won that game. she can win by placing a jack and 10 (same suit) AT the same time (not separately) and she does not need to say last card etc bc shes putting down 2 cards as her last move. you both win!! the ONLY time we say last card is when we end up holding ONE card, and when i split my last two cards, my card im about to put down, i say last card BEFORE i place it down.

The variant I'm most familiar with is like this:
At the start of the game, the players are all dealt 8 cards.
The main goal is to get rid of all your cards. I forget how scoring works, though...
These cards had specific powers to them:
2's made you draw 2 cards. You also lose your turn after drawing.
8's are wild, you can play them to change the suit into anything you want.
Jacks made you skip the turn of the next player.
The Queen Of Spades made you draw 5 cards. You also lose your turn after drawing.

    *_Variation:_*
Aces - Reverses the direction of the play.
2 - The next player draws 2 cards and was skipped.
Queen - Skips the next player.
Joker - Like 8, it's also a Wildcard, but the next player draws 4 cards and was skipped.

I play the game where it goes like this:
Each player starts with 8 cards.
8’s are wild cards and it can be played at anytime and the player who played it picks a suit for the next player to play.
    3’s skip the next player.
    5’s skip the next player.
2’s make the next player draw 2 cards and skip their turn unless they have another 2 card. A player draws the number of cards players played in a row. For example, let’s say I played a 2, and the next player plays another 2. The next player after him doesn’t have a 2, so he has to draw 4 cards. 2 cards for each 2 played. Then his turn skips.
Ace of Spades makes the next person draw 5 cards and skip their turn. They must draw no matter what.
If a player has 1 card in their hand, they must say “Crazy Eights!”. If not, they draw 2 cards as a penalty if caught.
Whoever gets rid of their hand first wins!

Queen of Spades, not Ace of Spades, makes the next player draw 5 cards. And that variant is called "Very Crazy Eights".

    • @lolman6976
      @lolman6976 Před 2 lety

@@TheRojo387 my version is that 10s are seen as a 8 eight but you make a person of choosing draw 3 cards a joker is like 8 and 10 but can reverse any move of his choosing and can make anybody give him any card whether that be a 10 8 or another joker but you can't use the joker after it's use for 5 turns if you get another it's pretty simple but I found that simple is better
Edit: Spade I'd a blocking system once you out one you can skip the turn after so if you use mine go for it if you so choose
