As good as they sound on record, the live clean vocals are beyond horrific.

Unfortunately, I have to agree man, I've been on a little TB live binge for a few minutes right now and more performances than not that I've watched are not very strong all around when it comes to James' vocals both clean & unclean which is sad because I love all the material they have put out.
Now I am aware that in this video this was their last song of the set and it's an older one, but even the new stuff and more recent vids James is off key pretty often. And I am also aware that even though the newer tracks have a lot more mellow verses and are sort of intended to be sang softly, which naturally sounds quiet, he sings them almost too quiet and it legit is hard to hear him.
With all that said, I have nothing but respect for James and the entire band. They are super talented on and off record and as musicians in general, and I am not convinced that they are incapable of putting on an amazing set. I just hope James keeps progressing and maintaining his instrument so that his live sound is reflecting his studio sound as exact as can be.

@@mikeb.4932 Unclean is not a word used to describe vocals.
