  • Emilio Estevez will forever be remembered for being one of the members of the Brat Pack. The Brat Pack was a nickname given to the group of actors in the '80s that included Anthony Michael Hall, Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, and Ally Sheedy.
They frequently appeared together in teen coming-of-age films. Estevez gained prominence from these movies, and particularly from The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo’s Fire. They made him one of Hollywood’s most prominent stars.
Today, however, Estevez is essentially nowhere to be seen. What has happened to Gordon Bombay from The Mighty Ducks or Billy the Kid from Young Guns? Here's the real reason you don't hear from Emilio Estevez anymore.

I always thought Emilio was a sweet down to earth guy. Paula Abdul said “He was the best really!” And always showered her with gifts. Seems like a really decent human being who is just trying to do what’s right for himself. I still love him in The Breakfast Club!!

Wow! I always thought Charlie looked more like his father, but as Emilio has aged, he's the splitting image of Martin Sheen. They really need to do some sort of family biopic movie or series. All of them have very colorful and interesting lives that would make for good TV drama.

I have always looked forward to, and missed seeing, Emilio on the big screen again.
Have always hoped he’d find a role that suited him and would tell us another ‘story’ again.
Just such a damned cool actor… I’ve wondered for 25 years. Damn!
Edit; my apologies, I did not see The Way… yet more specifically, I miss the leading man cool dude roles he used to play. He has such a non-arrogant acting style that works for me. He’s one of those actors where his personal standards seems to shine through in his roles. He’s not cheesy, cocky, overacting… I’ve just always hoped he would take on some role as a more fully matured male that would show us the breadth of the guy that I’ve seen in him in the past. I’ve just always thought there could be a role or two where he could give us a bit of a ‘wow’ again. He just seems like cool dude.

Great to hear he`s doing well, I always enjoyed his work ! Unfortunately you forgot to mention his movie ``The War at Home``, Martin Sheen also guest starred. Emilio had invested all his money into this project about a Vietnam vet returning home. Unfortunately another movie was released & took all the publicity. It was one his better works.
