    I only started riding for a couple of years on a honda cbr500. I traded up last year to one of these in order to go longer distances and sit upright more. I couldn't be happier with the choice. It's an easy bike to ride.

      Right on! The GS line is great! Have you looked into becoming a MOA member?

    i ordered a 750GS on February and I was told that it will come on June.... I really cant wait. I hope it will be great as my second ever bike (my first bike was a KTM 390 Duke). I am 5'9 and I ordered the full extra "experience". I hope it will not be that big for me (my father has the 1250GS and I must say that even if I rode it well, Im not confident enough).

      Congrats on the 750 GS and I hope it arrives sooner than June for you!! I rode my 2014 650 GS for 7 years before getting the 1250 GSA. The 650/750 are great bikes to gain experience on and after a while you won't even notice the difference in size when riding the small bikes to big bikes. Although, you will notice the weight difference when picking them up after they take a dirt nap lol!

    The line starts behind me for this motorbike, only 5’7”, hope I have a fighting chance. I come from the world of Low seat Harley Davidson’s but my youth is gone so hopefully I can fit on this BMW 750 GS

    I changed my 390 adv and got this instead, very good to ride on, solid but a little bit top heavy, but nothing major. KTM must learn how to make proper saddles cause it hurts to drive them on longer trips, same with the 790 and 890. I know others who has sold the bikes because of that. Ok you could buy a aftermarket saddle, but a proper one cost 1100-1200usd where i live cause we have to import it.

      KTM makes great dirt bikes and they are still learning what makes a great street/adv bike.

    Incorrect, the price difference is $4180.the f750 is $13545 here in the USA the F850 GSA is $17,725. The F850 GS is $16370 so a $2825 difference as of 8/11/23

    Thanks so much for this video, really need ur advice 🙏 i want to get the 2022 F750 with the regular suspension, ESA, and center stand. Honestly, I don't want to miss out on all the goodies of that edition (even though they did this same concept with the 850GS, which I love even more 🤦🏽‍♂️). I'm 5'6 with a 29 inseam. I'm very okay with the discomfort with the lower seat(don't even mind shaving some more foam😂😂🤦🏽‍♂️), however my concern is getting flat-footed in heavy traffic gridlocks whereby cars are so closely together even to bikes, which is quite common in my country 🤷‍♂️ I can't afford to stop most times on my left foot jumping off the bike at stops sometimes. What is the seat height of the normal suspension? And would I flat-foot it? I also plan buying another rider's boot with probably higher soles as well, to ensure this happens though. Thanks.

    • @BikesCameraAdventure
      @BikesCameraAdventure  Před 2 lety

      The standard suspension and standard seat, the height is 32.1 inches and the low seat is 31.1 inches. Which could bring you very close to flat footing if you're all the way forward on the seat. Then the suspension lowering kit will take it down to 30.3 inches. I can only get the balls of both my feet on the ground and have to stop in traffic all the time. I could previously flat foot on my old bike and it took some getting used to, but after awhile its the new normal. Good luck & thanks for watching!

    I wonder, if you are 5-8 should you go with the the regular suspension with the extra low seat or go w/ low susp and low seat? I just don’t know how much bad is it to lose the ESA in the low susp setup…

    • @BikesCameraAdventure
      @BikesCameraAdventure  Před 2 lety +1

      I think I would go with the low seat if you plan on doing some off-road to take advantage of the full suspension. Unfortunately, the low seat will have less padding for those longer trips. It really comes down to what feels comfortable to you. I can only get the balls of my feet on the ground of my bike.

    Admittedly I'm too lazy to spend time doing the comparison myself, but how does the 2022 compare to the 2021? I'm interested in a 2022 premium package with the San Marino blue color. I'm about 5'5" with a 26in inseam so I plan on getting a lowered seat only. If I can help it. Really trying not to lose the adjustable suspension.

      Very little has changed from what I've heard. But, you are talking to a CZcamsr that only visits BMW shops. I would recommend calling or going to your closest BMW dealer to get all the info.

    Should i wait for new 2024 GS 800 to arrive or just go and buy this ? Fully loaded at 16k usd in Dubai. ( + 5 years warranty and 5 year maintenance ) I am a bit confused. Want to do long touring and occasionally sandy roads.

  • @thunderbear0

    Im looking for this bike as long range tourer mostly onroad and sometimes offroad too
    Is it any good?

    • @BikesCameraAdventure
      @BikesCameraAdventure  Před 2 lety

      Yes, the 750 is a great all around touring bike that is fun in the dirt. I'm not sure what kind of distance you will be doing but the 750 GS has a 4 gallon (15 liter) fuel tank. Another option for you could be the BMW 850 GSA. That comes with upgraded suspension and has a 6.1 gallon (23 liter) fuel tank.

    Would you recommend this for a beginner? I'm 5'8 and I just passed my motorcycle course. I'm 28 and I'm looking for speed just to cruise maybe on the highway on the future

    • @BikesCameraAdventure
      @BikesCameraAdventure  Před 2 lety

      Hey great avatar photo! YES!! The 750 GS is a great bike for beginners! As mentioned there is a lot of seat options to make sure your feet touch the ground. The GS platform will give you so many riding options to just cruise, travel and even hit some twisty. It has a lot of cargo options and is very comfortable for longer trips. BMW also has some great financing options too and you don't need to put a lot of money down to get into one. Best of luck and let me know if you pick one up!!

    • @David_Journey
      @David_Journey Před 2 lety

      It’s a very torque-y bike which makes it a great commuter. It also has some room to grow, you won’t get bored quickly as you would with 300 cc beginner bikes.
      Make sure you equip it with crash guards to eliminate any casualties in parking lot drops that are inevitable for beginners

    • @David_Journey
      @David_Journey Před 2 lety

      It definitely needs some practice to pick it up, as it is not a lightweight bike (compared to a feather weight Honda Rebel 250)

    Just recently bought it and the engine feels really hot compared to my 2022 CB500X. I'm 5'11" and the engine particularly "cooks" my right foot and both shin and ankle area. Is that the same for everyone?

    • @BikesCameraAdventure
      @BikesCameraAdventure  Před 2 lety

      That is interesting. I've only test road these bikes, and have not noticed that.

      Hey…I’ve got a2019 CB500X and probably will switch to this 750. I am 5’11” as well. 500 is ver comfortable and fun for most two lane rides, but I need more power when passing and when on expressways. How has the 750 been? Worth the upgrade? I know it needs a windscreen.

    Made in China motor...Is that good? I'll take a German one.

    • @BikesCameraAdventure

      Things made in China no longer mean crap. That depends on the company and quality control.
