Just thought it’s worth saying respectfully: Titanium dioxide is in sunscreen, and though we don’t have enough peer reviewed long term studies on it, there’s not enough evidence to show that it’s even bad - ofc totally fine as your personal choice to stay away from the ingredient but I would encourage your viewers to be critical about the scientific info they get from social media instead of taking everything at face value!
I agree! As a viewer I use the brand and was almost going to do the same with mine (trash them) but then I did some research, got advice from doctors and whoever put out that original video I don’t think is really well informed because this isn’t the only brand it’s in. However there are some menstrual products which do not have the ingredient.
Yes^^I'm a chemist and titanium dioxide is used to whiten a lot of things including coffee creamers and chewing gum. Let's not demonize tampons over a random tik Tok lol

I love the diva cup - but the first time I used it I also didn’t put it in correctly and was crying in frustration from leaking so much. I also needed to get the ‘2’ size - which you need if you’re over a certain age…

I saw that same tik tok and I was so worried I was about to throw them away which sucked because they were expensive! BUT someone else did a debunking of that and it turns out titanium dioxide is in so many things including foods and it's not actually bad for you. That tik tok you saw was 100% fear mongering and you should always do your own research!
Btw titanium dioxide is a naturally occurring compound found in minerals and is not a cause of cancer!!
I was just about to make a comment about this. I am pretty sure a massive single dose of titanium dioxide is bad for you, but the same is true for a massive dose of potassium. So the amount of titanium dioxide in tampons isn't going to kill you or cause irreparable damages to your body. 100% make sure to do your own research after seeing TikToks like that one. Couldn't agree more with you❤
This is why I hate TikTok they’re always trying to scare people without doing their own research as well…. I was literally about to switch from tampax radiate but that’s the only brand that works for me 💀

I used the cup for years and then switched to the Cora disc and I LOVE it. Even better than a cup. Once you get used to it, you’ll never go back to tampons.

I recommend for any pad, liners, or tampons the august brand, they are so soft, biodegradable, and they have no harmful ingredients + they are organic too :)

10/10 would recommend using a menstrual cup! It does take time to figure out what insertion method works best for you but it’s worth the time. I’ve been using a cup for years now and it’s way more convenient than tampons.

Hii ash!! I recomend instead of the cup( not for everyone) try the reusable cloth pads or the menstruation underwear! I love them, you just wash them with hot water and natural soap or in the washmachine. Super easy and comfortable!

i used the diva cup for a couple years but was getting UTIs a lot so i switched to the discs and been loving them. not as wasteful as tampons, felt like a happy medium from them n a diva cup

Have you ever heard of Flex? They are not tampons and not a diva cup either but I use them it’s a subscription as well but honestly been over 2 years and still use them check them maybe do some research and see if you’d like em
