- this is an update the jars used for the tesla spirit radios have parts sitting inside them some will be used others just put aside so theres a good way to wind a better spiral coil and ill explain that latter or to any one who arsks for how its done

I found a schematic for these spirit radios, and I can tell you what they are.
They are merely crystal radios that have a second antenna tap further down the coil.
If you get rid of the second antenna you will have a classic am crystal radio.
I expect the second antenna introduces interference because it would be resonant at different frequencies because it is further down the coil.
Not only would the second antenna cause interference, it would act as a mixer and produce other harmonics.
It may make for an interesting audio effect but I don't think the spirits of the dead have anything to do with it.
just a waiste of time buiulding them and i dont beleive that tesla ever built them as the software used wasnt around in teslas days and it wasnt compatible with windows ten so was uselless
hey love the video, and the idea. Forgive my naivete as I am only a Master Student. May I ask first why he specifies a Glass Jar? My intuition suggests using hand blown stained glass as a further experiment. Do you think this would have any desirable effect?
no a glass jar is just to use it all in with so you can see it all in place thats all,i dident get anything except radio stations so that was all for nothing, and the program used to help record it and filter the signals and get voices out of it was so crap it wasent suitable for windows ten maybe others to ,so i brought a spirit radio which is better and you can use audacity software for that much better, the tesla spirit radio isent that good

thick single gauge wire bend a round loop using pliers then sit it on a flat surface put your hand on it flatt and rotate the inner circle so it then gets into a spiral

the tesla spirit radio i made like the ones online but they use a software which is no good on my operating systems windows 10 so i got audacity and i haven't used that for it yet but i used an electric guitar amp and that amped up radio stations only one which all i herd was about football if the guitar amp had any filtering it may of filtered out the signals

What is your technique for winding a better spiral coil?
bend thick gauge wire into a loop at one end then sit it on flat surface put your hand flat onto it then twist your hand while holding wire down flatt so it curls around the loop keep gong till it a spiral pull out wire while twisting to keep the coils tighter, use the palm part of flat hand
What's the copper wire diameter you use for your spiral coil? Its it thicker than 2mm ?
using a pair of long nose pliers bend the start of the coper into a circle, then put it onto a flat top say your kitchen table, then put your hand flatt into it and twist it into a circle , keep your hand flatt and twist so it stays flatt and forms a spiral
I followed someone on CZcams and used a guitar amp to run the tesla spirit radio to and all I got was radio stations so something is missing and I got some larger glass germanium diodes from e bay and still all I get is radio stations so something is not right for sure
I have one built right in front of me right now but I cant get a limited sound working on my with it right now I am using audacity as my software because I don't own a mac. If I plug a stereo plug half of the way in then touch any object's that conducts electricity to the antenna it will start making noises. I cant get any sound to work if put with a mono to stereo jack on to it only when I plug a stereo sound out let half way it starts making sound.
ive since abandoned my tesla spirit radio stuff till latter as if the program you use is important its no good on my pc only for macs
I've ordered some audio software to use to filter out the strong radio station receptions, to see if there's any hidden signals in it, as the recommended one, audio hijack is not suitable for windows 10 and even the instructables doesn't tell you, nor give you any link to one that can be used for higher operating system like windows ten . so my advice to them is get your act together and cover more details so others can build them , and while you at it explain better how you get the 2 lead loop stick antennae's as in Australia and very where else there's just 4 lead ones so explain in details which colour wires to use for the 4 lead lloopstick antennas

I bought one from another group. It did absolutely nothing but receive AM radio signals. I used two different amplification mediums and even hooked this thing to a high amplification preamp to amp up the signal. Still nothing. Luckily the group I bought this device from was good enough to refund the $102.84 I spent. I believe these devices are hoaxed. There is a diagram and parts list to follow but it is no different that the device I bought. Took it apart to visually identify the parts and construction. Be careful buying this.

Steve I am curious as to how you got the sounds you did on that device. I had one that did nothing.
i brought the p-sb7 spirit box on e bay its a hand held radio that scans the frequencies and the spirits was said to use this to talk through by selecting various words from people all over the frequencies to talk with the radio has a short ereal and a ball shaped plug in amplifier with biult in speaker
yes I've seen these. I was looking for something different and a little more consistent. I know I am asking a lot. Again how did you get the sounds out of that device as shown in the video?
despite using the larger glass germanium diodes I still get nothing but radio station receptions no spirits or ghosts , and using a 9vdc battery operated simple amp circuit nothing its not powerful enough it only works with the guitar amp but no spirit voices still as always and shining a torch light on the germanium did nothing at all , maybe I need to be near a spirit radio station lol

the thing is all it does is pick up radio signals...
so far yes thats all i get and its amplified now even louder through the guitar amp but i cant amplify weaker sounds from another circuit through the same amp for unknown reasons

+Steven Chiverton why do you say something is missing? why would ghosts be able to communicate through radio signals? wouldn't that disprove EVP phenomena as recorders audio recorders don't pick up radio frequencies.
i tried this tesla spirit radio because on some youtube videos they get voices over them from the dead or other, but even though the program they use to filter it and get them out is useless for windows ten that audio hijack program , so i got audacity one and dispite only haveing one headphone input in my laptop i was told it can do mic to but i cant seem to get anything from runing it to the tesla spirit radio to amplify from it so i can try that program. on one of the tesla spirit radio videos on you-tube radio reception was receaved in the background to a little bit
