- Here is a spectacular box of Video Nasties from my good friend Carl Morris!! I haven't got 4 of these filums and 1 is in an edition I have never seen before!!!!! wow!!!!
Nice one mate. Looking forward to your next video. Roop.😃👍
Working on it today....haven't got a clue what it'll be yet Roop 🤔🤔😵💫😵💫🤣🤣👍👍
Lovely bundle there John. What a kind and generous friend. Bruce Willis and Divine 🤣🤣🤣👍
It certainly is Carl 😁😁👏👏 Carl has sent me nasties before and he has helped me out loads with his generosity Carl 🤩🤩👌👌 hes a Dead Ringer 🤔😂😂👍👍
What an awesome package bud. That Man eater is stunning, never seen anything like that. I'm back on my video nasty collecting again
Unboxing things in here Tris!! Yeah the big box ManEater is so different 🤔🤯🤯👍👍 can't beat a bit of nasty goodness 😁😁👌👌
Hello John. Dawn of the Mummy is fair but the ending is definitely worth the wait, bought the Mediabook from CMV recently. "Massacre Mansion"(1976) is coming from 101 films very soon which came out on Vipco which i own, 101films claims their artwork is the Video nasty Section 3 but it is not the same but at least you get the "Massacre Mansion" wrap.
Cheers Darren 🤩🤩👍👍 been a long time since I saw it...loved the setting though! I saw that mentioned Darren, I'm up for that as I don't have it yet 😁😁 great info Darren, I'm always pleased when another long forgotten nasty is brought back to life 🤩🤩🤩👌👌👌👌
Thank you John.
Cheers for watching Cheekster mate 😁😁👍👍
I still have Terror in the old Anchor Bay dvd coffin box. Along with other Warren films. Enjoyable film.
I remember that Coffin Box set Stephen 🤔👍👍 great looking set mate 🤩🤩👍👍
I owned those ABUK Warren, Pete Walker and Tigon coffin sets too, Stephen.
Cool packaging for certain but terribly prone to rattler discs inside the cases.😞
@@hallgos7319 They were, and still are! If you push the discs in tight it's a struggle to get them back out. And if you didn't push them in tight they fall out and rattle. Still great looking on the shelves though.

Been there, done that and got rid of them years ago. Lol!😁
They did look amazing, I remember seeing John's editions and they were amazing 🤩🤩👍👍
Awesome video John 😀🍿🎸🎶 I will look out for that Treasure release of ‘Dawn Of The Mummy’ which it eventually gets released 👍 I will look forward to check out Anthro; it is on my to watchlist mate 👍 I am eager to check out ‘Terror’; never knew it was a Video Nasty 🤔 Keep up the great work buddy 😀🙏🍿🎸🎶 I’m currently working on my new project which will be my first ever album review; hence my next video coming soon 😊
I remember the movie "The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith" and the lead actor was also in "Crocodile Dundee" & "Walkabout". Great dvd's for you certainly and I love the box for "Maneater" I have quite a lot of vhs boxes like that inc' "Enter The Dragon" even some music vhs like "Duran Duran best of videos" and "Led Zeppelin's The Song Remains The Same". I even bought some empty boxes like that which looked like books in a book case when you put them with the binder looking part facing out. I actually put in the vhs recordings of "Live Aid" I managed to record the entire set off the tv on that historic day. Regards Jim
It's a shame the guy 8s no longer with us Jim 😞 the case for ManEater is really unique, love it 👌👌 I remember those cases that looked like books 😁😁👌👌 Live Aid was such an event wasn't it!! I did tape it myself on a repeat! Think everyone in the UK watched it 🤔🤩🤩 cheers Jim 😁😁👍👍
I have the original uncut pre-cert Section 3 vhs of Dawn Of The Mummy, but it was always released complete to us in Australia anyway - and never bothered our censors. A lot of gory fun. Recently picked up the German blu ray mediabook of it too. I'm glad you enjoyed it John, it's one which I constantly rented out as a kid. Think Romero's "zombies" but with mummies instead!
Amazing pre-cert to own Josh 😁😁👌👌 it's got an amazing cover, one I hope is retained somewhere on a new release of it 🤞🤞😁😁 it seemed to be problematic in the UK for some reason 🤔 always seemed to be really hard to find, that's why I was surprised to see it on the Section 3 list 🤯 definitely had that unique slant using mummies 😁 cheers Josh 🤩🤩👍👍
Hey
Nice items,
I lashed out and bought the German mediabook version of dawn of the mummy.
The film is actually Egyptian, not Italian as you mentioned on this video.
Terror was shown uncut on the legend channel couple of years back, good film.
I have the vinegar syndrome edition of don't answer the phone.
Keep up the great work 😊
If i'm not mistaken, Chewbacca himself, Peter Mayhew has a small role in Terror.🤔
I have that VS incarnation of DATP too, Blagger and also the earlier Scorpion Releasing BR.
Cheers mate 🤩🤩👍👍 thanks for the info 😁😁👍👍 Terror does look an interesting British Horror movie, love that aspect 😁😁👌👌 I saw that VS release of Don't answer the phone and thought wow!! Great release!! Can't wait to watch this one!! Cheers again Moley 🤩🤩👍👍
I’ve heard of that Maneater release but never saw what it looked like, very unique case! The extras sound awesome as well, a super 8 version of Antropophagus sounds like a real grimy treat! Awesome video as always John, all the best!
Cheers Andy 🤩🤩👍👍 never knew it existed mate 🤯🤯 one of the most unique releases I have thanks to Carl 😁😁👌👌 great extras and to have literally 3 versions of the movie in one place is great! I wonder if 88 might scoop some of this up for their 4k? 🤞🤞🤞 the super 8 version runs for 30 mins, just like the highlights of the movie! Grimy fun as you say Andy 😁😁👍👍
Evri do the same thing. You can be standing looking out of the window, you'll hear a ping on your phone, a message to say they've just been to your house, but couldn't deliver as no one was in. Taking the p*** for sure. Another great list. Cheers.
Total joke, literally not got any time to get to the door 🤯🤯🤬🤬 must want a sharp finish!! If I catch them doing that I'll complain to the company delivering....not that that will make much difference 😬😬😵💫😵💫 cheers bud, thanks for saying that 😊😊👍👍
Wow, can't say I've heard of any of them except for Anthro and Don't Answer The Phone, they all look wicked though fairplay.
I noticed your cheeky VS shelf in the corner 😊 I must say, those hammer films look awesome on the shelf 😎 need to grab a few more of them.
Cheers JP
It's great to get titles like this, they aren't that well known Craig irs getting me closer to completion 🤩🤩 love the VS collection and yeah can't recommend the Hammer stuff enough Bumper!! Cheers bud 😁😁👍👍
Ive got the indicator bloody terror boxset that includes Terror. Bit of trivia, John Nolan who is in Terror is the uncle of Christopher Nolan an is in a lot of his films.
Lovely set Steven 🤩🤩👍👍 wow had no idea that was the case!!! Great info, love stuff like that 😁😁👌👌
Nice package from Carl John.
It certainly is Mark!! Gotta love them nasties mate 😁😁👌👌
Great grisly cover on that AWE Terror DVD, John and the relevant knife attack in the film is suitably nasty from what I recall.
Intrigued by this British nasty mate 🤩🤩👍👍
Get the same problem, John, no knock on the door but plenty cards through letterbox
It's a joke Paul, Yeah this new Postie must be wanting a sharp finish!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬
Excellent vid John, some cool editions 😊
Absolutely brilliant Marty!! Wasn't expecting all these mate!! Dying to check them out mate 😁😁👌👌
Got a really nice blu / combo mediabook of dawn of the mummy a few months ago John . Previously only had the old uk anchor bay dvd version which was also fully uncut same as the uk pre cert released on videospace in the early 80s. The blu ray is a massive upgrade picture on the dvd version I was really pleased by it. Though I really like it , all the action/gore is all in the last 30 mins unfortunately . I also have that US dvd of dont answer the phone which came with a slipcover when originally released yrs back.. as my dvd has .
I still own a new copy of ABUK's DOTM and I agree the film takes a good while to get into gory gear.
@hallgos7319 I'm sure we watched it together once John 🤔😁👍
That sounds like a nice release Wayne 🤔😁👌 I had a dvd of it a while ago but not sure what it was mate 🤔🤔 I've heard it's slow at the start, I can't remember much but the miles of sand everywhere 🤩 didn't know about the slip on the dvd, not many dvds had slips back in the day! Cheers Wayne 😁😁👌👌
@@MondoChelloveckMovies
I can't help thinking we did too.🤔
Some great films there matey.. new subscriber to your channel today.. you sound like a North Easterner by that accent.. same as myself lol
Thanks XFile 😁😁👍👍 yeah Geordie from Whitley mate 🤩🤩 God's country as they say 😁 thanks for subscribing mate appreciate that 🤩🤩👍👍
@@MondoChelloveckMovies haha good man.. you're more than welcome.. Ive been into my horror since I was a kid and I'm 50 now so looking forward to catching up with some of your vids and hopefully finding some recommendations to add to my ever growing lists 🤣👍
@XFile2708 🤩🤩👍👍 yeah I think most of us are Horror born and bread since childhood 🤔😁 thanks again mate, yeah plenty of Horror releated stuff here and hope you find something to check out 🤔🤩🤩👍👍
saw that dawn of the mummy movie a bit . its a cross between; Zombie holocaust/ Dr butcher MD with mummy zombies. that Anthropopagous case looks like a big science book 😂
I can see Zombie Holocaust elements in there for sure Arturo 🤔🤩🤩👍👍 the Anthro box does look really different doesn't it 😁😁 thanks for watching Arturo 🤩🤩👍👍
Terror is a great film, i have the indicator blu ray!
I used to have 'Beyond The Door' (1974) on german dvd in one of those vhs type cases but sold it on when upgraded to the Arrow blu ray 🤘
I have the U.K. and U.S. releases of Terror. I bought both because of the differing extras.
The film's female lead, Carolyn Courage later appeared as Mrs. Bellamy in the ever-popular second series of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.😉
@@hallgos7319 Cheesy, gory, suspiria like, 70's, British ... a winner for me!
Good old auf wiedersehen pet, remember watching that as a kid 👍
@hallgos7319 wow!! Never knew that John! Terror has a cracking British cast in it!! 🤩🤩👍👍
Something very different about British Horror in the 70s!! Seemed quite mean spirited at points in these movies 🤔🫣🤩👍
The case of ManEater is so different, love the fact as it nearly looks like a VHS release! Which I like 😁😁👍👍
I must admit, the blonde bad guy in DOTM tends to remind me of Wrestling legend, Ric Flair.😁
🤣🤣🤣 "Pass me that gun....Wooooo" 🤣🤣👌
Nice video, Jon. I have that German ManEater. great DVD release with cool extras (very weird case), also Don't Answer the Phone (proper sleazy filum indeed)
Cheers bud. 👍
Is the company Astro? I have the Astro DVD of The Grim Reaper in a standard clear DVD case. That also has the bombastic, cop show, soundtrack & the super 8 reels as an extra
Cheers Stripey 😊😊👍👍 what a different release ManEater is!! Really taken with it.....if there was a numbered collection of these it would be one of those temptations I couldn't resist 🤔😵💫😵💫😂 👍👍 I've been after watching Don't answer the phone for a while, the sleazier the better for me Stripey! 🤣🤣 cheers mate 😊😊👍👍
@turntheblueiris4626 I'm not 100% sure mate, the writing is REALLY small 🥸🥸 but that alternative soundtrack is crazy mate!! 😱😱😁😁 those super 8s were crazy to look at!! 😳😳 cheers bud 🤩🤩👍👍
Hi John
Are you keeping well.
Absolutely great package sent to you from Carl.
Some great nasties there mate.
I must admit I've never seen some of those dvd versions before.
I remember getting Dawn of the mummy out on pre cert it's a long time ago but remember it been very gory for a mummy film.
It was re released on video in the late 80s heavily cut with all the gore gone.
That dvd version of antropophagus is awesome
I've never heard it called maneater before. It seems to have quite a few different cuts of antropophagus
I've seen the grim reaper version before if I remember right that is the cut R rated version.
Don't answer the phone a sleazy classic from the nasties period.
Terror for a British horror is very gory.
Norman j Warren directed some absolute cult classics in 70s
Satan's slave and prey, and a favourite of mind inseminoid.
The only one I've not seen is The Chant Of Jimmie Blacksmith.
But I've heard it a cult classic.
There's certainly a lot of titles in section 3 to collect.
Look forward to your next video, and all the best.
Cheers 😊😊
Cheers Paul, Yeah feeling good mate 😁😁👍👍 the section 3 filums have probably the most obscure ones in there Paul 🤔🤩👍 I will check out more Norman J Warren movies for sure Paul 🤔😁😁 I like what I've seen so far even though I've still got quite a few to watch on my shelves 😳🤣 The Chant of Jimi Blacksmith is definitely a real social statement of what was happening in Australia with the Aboriginal people, I'm interested to see now if this movie can be considered racist? Is that why it was on the list? I thought it might be for graphic violence, be interesting to re evaluate it now Paul 🤔🤩🤩👍👍
Like you I love Zombie Flesh Eaters it was one of those movies that I used to see talked about on british tv usually whenever a show about censorship was on I'd be on it like a hawk, wanted to know everything about the subject, I remember being pretty peeved to say the least that back in the 80s I could not see it in any form, then around 2000 I walked into my local Blockbuster to have a browse and there on the bottom shelf in new released section I saw to my shock and surprise the vhs version of Zombie Flesh Eaters (with the uncut sticker on the front of course) I had to rent it and was not dissapointed, became a favourite of mine ever since. Mikey 1992 is another great banned movie and also New York Ripper was one that was hard to get, Mikey is still banned to this day.
If I remember rightly, VIPCO reissued the excised cinema print of ZFE in widescreen on VHS back around '92 or '93.🤔
Great memories mate 🤩🤩👍👍 it's funny when someone says you can see that!.....you make it your goal to check it out and you will explore every avenue, Zombie Flesh Eaters (with that title alone) was one I was desperate to see as well....even though the Bootleg quality I saw for my first watch was AWFUL I knew there was a good movie there! With every jump in quality I got ZFE in I loved it even more 🤩🤩👌👌 New York Ripper was impossible to see!! 😵💫😵💫 never heard of Mikey though 🤔 cheers for letting me know about that one 🤩🤩👍👍
@@MondoChelloveckMovies Yes my first ever copy of the Exorcist was taped over an old porn video a guy at a market did it for my dad, I think my dad had to buy the porn video off the guy then give it to him to tape over, the quality was terrible, also Mikey was banned because the Jamie Bulger case back in the early 90s
@@hallgos7319 was that for the uk market, as I may have been wrong with the date.
@missionpassed4584 🤣🤣 crazy story!! 👏👏 you never knew what would be on the end of a VHS copy 🫣🫣😂😂 usually Frankie Vaughan 🤯🤣 ahh didn't know that about Mikey, but there was a lot of scrutiny when they said Child's Play 3 had influenced those 2 shitbags 🤬🤬🤬
You look like Johnathan Banks aka Mike from Breaking Bad
I do 👍👍
I have a German cannibal ferox in that still of packaging
Will you keep it wrapped Garry? I think I might have a few things that are fully sealed 🤔😁👍👍
@MondoChelloveckMovies great video as usual love this channel but wanted to ask about keeping editions sealed do you double buy them?have seen many collectors do this and just wondered
@clarencebodicker3299 cheers Clarence 😁😁👍👍 most of my sealed ones are actually open, I only cut the shrink at the top so I'm able to access them, I don't have many that are fully sealed and not opened, if I did it might be gifted from someone or highly collectable 🤔 but not many unopened on my shelves, I do see people keeping them wrapped for ages or forever as well.... I suppose its a personal taste thing in the end Clarence 🤔😁 cheers bud 🤩🤩👍👍
Thought I’d subscribe even though I don’t like super gory movies, as I do love good horror.
Terror is not a good movie, mind.
And I’m a fellow musician.
Thanks SG 👍👍🤩🤩 there are some great Horrors that don't get too gory 👌 some of the nasties aren't the best I agree SG, what do you play mate? 🤩🤩👍👍
@@MondoChelloveckMovies I’ve always loved good horror but I’m more of Hammer and classic ( or old haha ) movies guy.
I play a bit of everything, mainly guitar, bass and keyboards, though guitar is probably my main instrument. A jack of all trades and a master of f*** all.
Will be watching a bunch of your playlists over the weekend 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Thanks SG 😁😁👍👍 yeah Hammer & Universal films are amazing 🤩🤩👌👌 nice one, I play similar to yourself SG and my "best" instrument is the drums 🥁 🤩 can't say I'm an impresario by any means 🤯🤯🤣🤣 thanks for checking out more of the videos mate 🤩🤩👍👍
