This trick with filling the page with one drawing and then iterating on it is MINDBLOWING! Ill be sure to use this, thank you!
This is great advice. A good thing about a full page of rough concepts is the client might mix and match bits they like. Here's a warning: If you really hate one, don't show it! That might be the one they like best.
Ahh still love shrimpy. Loyal sidekick energy.
Why are your videos so specific to my experience lately? Driving a bus, drawing on my breaks. Trying to balance technical improvement with fun and creativity. These things keep coming up in your videos.
This really motivated me to start drawing characters sooner and even seeing how you make lists in Notion was giving me ideas. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Tyler! I always appreciate your guidance that you put out there.
These characters are so fun!!
thank you for creating man
you give me so much hope... that when I go bald life's not gonna suck that much
Great tips, thank you, mostly the blank page and planning is great idea, often I don't even start because I am somehow under pressure. Also wonderful characters, love them, ty for sharing the process making them.
YT rlly has to do better, i have notifications on but I still try to remember checking my favourite channels weekly in case there're new videos that didn't make it into my notifications or even into my yt timeline and there always are.
Making a prop list is sth I sometimes forget to do but it always helps sooo much. At least iterations is one of my favorite things - helps to not feel like you might've accidentally missed a cool idea.
Also, the designs look adorable!
Thank you for sharing, Tyler. Always enjoy hearing all these helpful tips. Probably the most powerful one is "make it fun" IMO. I'm glad I change my way to have fun on my drawing now instead keeping up my toe on how to get good to become one of employee that company wants to be hiring. When kids draw something, it is obviously they are having fun with it. But the more they're grown up, many things getting in mind such as responsibility, pride and money. That makes many people shifting the gear and leaves what makes fun for them to pursuit what best for them. Thinking draw for fun might not help them on their carreer. I mean just take a look Kim Jung Gi for example. He just having fun drawing everything and look how his art career go.
Thank you Sir. ❤
No problem
Is that gunpla at the back? 😯
❤❤❤❤
Your speach becomed more slower/clearer) 👍
Is this the 24" Huion without touch? I think I have the same one, I originally bought it for blender and only drew on my ipad, may have to practice drawing in PS at some point
Yeah I don’t think it has a touch feature
Noice
The characters remind me of hollow knight style :D
I love that game
This is never not useful. Friction is ALWAYS there. But remember:
"The only thing needed for boredom to triumph is for creative people to do nothing" I think that's how the saying goes.
