      Everyone overlooks David Allan Coe. Get past the hits and the infamous X rated album and you've got one of the best songwriters of that time. Each songwriter is unique and has their signature style. Townes, Guy, John, all of them are legends. Also can't forget Tom Waits

    Hah! I grew up on that vynl by M. Robbins. One of my favorite singers when 13.
    I would like to hear him sing Devil Woman, El Paso....just to name a couple. I listen to his voice and I am carried away....on the breeze across prairies and over mountain ranges. Gorgeous.

    Lol that's funny, my first and only record I stole from my dad and that was Marty Robbins gunfighter ballads. Still sitting in my record player today. If you're not familiar with that record it has probably the greatest song ever written on it..........."El Paso"

    Gunfighter ballads is one of my favorites as well. My dad loved him and I I get older I understand more and more why. So many memories of of me n him driven in his old turquoise n white Ford f100. Miss that tough bastard. 😂 he smoked pall mall unfiltered and everyone thought he he was smokin joints. 😂. He would have loved your art Colter. I saw you live in Chattanooga to and it was undoubtedly the best concert I’ve ever experienced.. I wish you all the best my friend.       Actually, regardless of his speaking voice... a person's singing voice is different. That's why Mel Tillis was able to sing w/o his stutter.
      And, if you listen to singers from other Nations... you'll find that unless they consciously make an effort to keep the "accent" their singing voice sounds very much American English. 😉

    I'd like a version of this without the damn extra recording noise. You just woke up my wife with the super loud claps. Man... Ah! Claps again! Fudge nuggets! Damnit.
    I specifically request Colton's music be at the same volume or greater than the claps. Claps are way loud. Can't thumbs down, but can't carelessly play while my babies are sleeping (they like the music and ask if we can go fishing all the time).
