Wow I didn’t even know this existed! Well done David, it’s looks fun but also a bit scary. You obviously didn’t get lost and made it out ok but I’m glad you had a map! Will bear this place in mind when we need to hide from the zombie hoards 😁
I learnt about it only relatively recently. All the tunnels etc that are under Bristol, it's a wonder the city doesn't just fall down 😆 It's defo a good hide out from the Zombies 👍😁
Make sure you take a bump-cap too. The amount of times I’ve knocked my head despite being careful (or so I thought!). Wouldn’t want you out cold down there, especially with all that water!
It looks a bit scary down there Dave, I'd be worrying what might be lurking round every corner! As you asked; I found your headlamp ok to see what you were filming, no need to go splashing out on a dearer one ......and of course you went to good ol' Spoons for lunch !😄
I've never thought about what might be around the corner; my concern is I might get lost lol. You got it, good old Spoons 😆 T'was too easy a question lol
Quite an archeological explore, I'd say. You went through layers of time with railroad excavation altering the thirteenth-century conduit. The clarity of the stream is quite amazing. Someplace to go during Armageddon.
Aye, it was an archaeological explore indeed 😊 Very enjoyable walking through so much history. Would make a good place to hide during an apocalypse etc
@@westcountryexplorer I hope so too, but if one pays attention to world events, one can see WWIII being promoted by the West. Unlike you and other young ones, I grew up with the "Bomb" as a living threat. The underground channel with its lustrous water looked like a good bomb shelter to me.
@@memlagu It does seem to be going towards another nasty world war. I feel we may possibly be needing to take shelter underground if things don't turn around soon.
The head torch is OK, it did make for an atmospheric video, but if you're going to do more of this kind of thing you probably want to get a more powerful one.
Hey my friend, keep up the video's, doing well.
Thank you. No way I'm gonna stop doing vids lol 👍

That is absolutely fascinating. I don't know if I would dare go down it, but I would love to. It's amazing what is underneath us.
It certainly is amazing what's underneath us and, for the most part, we don't know about it.

A bump cap is definitely something I could do with. It is a risk that I could accidentally smack my head on something
Amazing-Stay safe
I'll do my best to stay safe 😊👍

@@westcountryexplorer Hehe, glad you didn't get lost so we can join you on more explores & walks 😀
Weatherspoons for lunch!
Lol, yep, good old Spoons 😁

@@westcountryexplorer Let's hope you and your beloved have better places to hide, however.
@@memlagu Hopefully we'll never need to use any hiding places

I am thinking of getting a brighter headtorch in due course 😊
